Hey TL, I've had afternoons like that...

BTW, what's with the "No Lot Lizards?" Are you a driver?

Resmed s9 wants to erase my SD card

I recently toasted my old computer (seriously!) and had to buy a new one. I downloaded and installed the latest ResScan SW and installed the SD driver. I was able to download my data to the computer, but when I plugged my card back into my CPAP machine, it wanted to erase the SD card. Any ideas what...

On the road, need some help

I'm in my third week on the road as a new trucker. My lead who also uses cpap says that I can't use my humidifier with the truck's onboard 1700 watt inverter. He also said I can't use the humidifier on DC even though I have the dc power supply for the unit. I'm using the Resmed S9 with the attachabl...

Thanks, zcp! I thought there was a more "techinical" way, but if the trucking company accpets it, it's good enough for me...

How to generate a Compliance Report w/Rescan?

I'm looking to go into truck driving, and one of the things they ask about is sleep apnea. I have very mild apnea (less than 5 AHI), but I need to generate a compliance report. When I started on CPAP, I didn't have insurance so I paid for my own testing and machine after the diagnosis, and I've been...

Re: Balloon Mouth

I had the baloon mouth problem as well using the nasal pillows and tape. But I could never get the tape to hold all night, and the resulting blowout (?) always woke me up and kept me awake. I finally went with the hybrid mask.

Problem installing Rescan

Hi, I've been using Rescan for a few years now, but I stopped updating the program since version 3.14. For some reason, ever since that version, every new one has a problem. The installation goes without an error, but when I run the Rescan program, I get an error that states "An error has been detec...

Re: Got no monkey on my back

Thanks for the replies, folks. It helps me a lot to "talk" about all this. My waking libido has been fine for a 57 year old. If it starts getting any better, pity my poor wife! She may want to start sneaking me a Lunesta in my nightly chamomile tea so I'll have to watch her. I'm actually not worried...

Re: Got no monkey on my back

Congratulations on trying to get off the stuff. If it doesn't work out, have you thought about trying to wean yourself off? Say cutting tab in half? I tired that when I quit cigarettes and it didn't work very well. Maybe I shouldn't have cut them lengthwise... Seriously, I know I have to go all out...

Got no monkey on my back

OK, I actually HAVE had one my back since 2004. It's called Lunesta at 3 mg. That's 7 years almost to the day that I've had this thing on my back, every night. On Wednesday coming home from morning Mass, I decided: this is it. I've talked about doing this for about a year now, but I always had a rea...

Re: acid in my mouth but no GERD

I had a problem come up after starting APAP where I had terrible pains on my shoulders and neck. After seeing the doctor (took a month of pain before I broke down) he diagnosed probably GERD and had me go in for a three letter test whose name I can't remember. The test involved sticking a tube/scope...
