you can pay him for a session evaluating your OSCAR data.
Why pay when you can get nearly unlimited sessions here from a group of heavily experienced users?

The power of the crowd

Of course he should try here first! What was I thinking?!!?

Re: Newly diagnosed — Respironics vs airsense

Got the Resmed Airsense 10 today, auto set and heated tube and all. From the little bit I tried it, it seems quite comfortable. Pressure is set to range between 5 and 20.; Turns out I had 21 events per hour in the night of my at home sleep test — more than I would have guessed. Psyched to use this....

Re: Seeking Advice Adjusting to CPAP (unique anatomical considerations)

BUMP! How's it going Zana? Gotten OSCAR to work yet? Post some graphs! Take a look at the following video: https://youtu.be/xj6ty4CmP50?t=88 The author of that video also has a web site company (link in the video description) where you can pay him for a session evaluating your OSCAR data. If you are...

Re: How do I know when to replace my Airsense 10 Autoset?

I was in the same boat. My S9 was throwing the infamous message, but I kept using it well over a year later. But one night it suddenly started having some sort of a power supply fault (LED blinks on and off), which I figure also keeps me from doing a blower replacement. So I switched back to my back...

Re: Resmed AirMIni

Anyone have any idea when the AirMini DC power supply, and/or a battery pack will be available? I like to tour on a motorcycle, and would sure like a smaller machine. If it had a small battery I could recharge off a bike during the day, and not run down the bike battery at night. I could even boondo...

Costco Sale on Pulse Oximeters

I see where Costco has a recording pulse oximeter from "Veridian Healthcare" on sale for $37.99. I wonder if it will work with SleepyHead??? It looks just like a Contec CMS50D+ but with different color plastic... http://www.costco.com/Premium-Pulse-Oximeter-by-Veridian-Healthcare%C2%AE.product.11680...

Since the first night, post titration!

That was one of the things that convinced me it was actually doing something useful, instead of just blowing humidified air.

Re: Flonase or Nasonex?

I too will get congested when sleeping. I've been using Nasacort AQ the 2 months since I started CPAP. Seems to work for me so far.

I tried Flonase about 15 years ago, but quit when I got nosebleeds from it.

Re: Going Camping

See Rested Gal's Link http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=9682 I haven't tried it yet, but I would just get a big deep discharge Marine style battery and the Respironics DC Adapter cord and do my own battery box. You still have to have a way to charge it during the day though. Generator and a ba...

CMS-50D+ Issues

I just acquired a CMS-50D+ Oximeter, but am having some troubles downloading. I can get the real time PC software running via the red "SpO2" Shortcut, but whenever I try to use the SpO2 Review software to do an actual download of saved data it gives me a "Can't open COM15 !" pop-up error. I can use ...

Re: S9 SpO2 module - can anyone ask their rep what one ?

No wonder I was confused. If you look closely at that table on page 5 of the Nonin spec, they list 2 "order numbers" for the 3012, one with (3873-202) and one without a connector (3873-002). Resmed must purchase the no connector version (3873-002) and then terminate the cable with their connector. F...

Re: Need help getting resmed s9!

... By the way, after two sleep studies, NO one has scheduled an interpretive conference with me. Is there anything I am doing wrong? So they took your money (or your insurance money) TWICE for sleep studies, and your doc NEVER even gave you a 10 minute office visit appointment to discuss the sleep...

Re: S9 SpO2 module - can anyone ask their rep what one ?

Why couldn't they use a simple DB-9, or USB or something? Those darn patient isolation rules! They have to use a connector that a layperson can't buy at Radio Shack or Dick Smith!

Re: DME Funny

Zzz_Jim - IF your doc won't write a new script (a "machine (make/model) specific" prescription) to deal with the DME then it is time to find another doc who will. Which is the whole reason to get a copy of your sleep study AND your script from the beginning. Actually, the first office visit after t...

Re: S9 SpO2 module - can anyone ask their rep what one ?

DSM, I frankly don't understand it - the Resmed Brochure shows a Nonin 3012 (but not the connector end). If Resmed used a custom or non-standard connector, how is the Nonin device still a model 3012? They would have to uniquely relabel the model number, else someone could order the wrong device as y...
