Re: S9 SD card - no detailed data found.....
Had my machine since monday and the card has been storing all the data (summary and detailed) since then and downloading it daily. This morning I did all the downloading as usual (clilcked on load detailed data etc) but this time only summary data (and yes the card was in the machine all night). I ...

Re: Not sleeping as well as I used to
If you believe that the pressure is correct for your Titration results... Then usual culprit is mask leaks. You can only tell if its really leaking when you are awake or you will need a Data type machine. It's pretty simple... air pressure stays the same and CPAP works unless something else changes...

Re: Using CPAP for almost 5 years, not doing well lately....
I'm back...had a sleep study and things look better from a numbers point of view: - lost about 15 pounds (off wheat, diary, red meat, yeast) - sleep study shows 11 apnea's an hour - feeling better overall but still having ups and downs - switched to a res med nasal pillow mask which seems much bett...

Re: Kinda disappointed
Just as an aside... S9 Elite vs S9 AutoSet... both machines are identical in all aspects except... Auto feature for Pressure of course... If you have a choice get the AutoSet that will operate Auto or CPAP... dollars are not that much different for DME If you settle on the Elite... its really not a ...

Re: Is it worth it to switch from Resmed S8 to S9 autoset
Many people on this board have given positive reviews of the S9 and its' accessories for good reason. Borck... you have to weigh the features you want versus the price you will pay. When you buy New... you get full warranty and no questions replacement... a great and expensive feature. When you buy ...

Re: Help - S9 SD card stopped recording data
I've taken my SD card out of my S9 a couple times so far, downloaded the data and put it back in the S9 with no trouble. But a couple days ago I did that and now it doesn't record any data. For two nights it just has a dash for the AHI and doesn't give a number for the hours of usage. I may have cl...

Re: Sleep Lab Model Masks
I personally like Fisher & Paykel products and use the Zest myself... It is ultra light and very small and pretty comfortable for me. Don't worry about cost cutting as the mask does very well in comparison to all others costing much more. The most important factors in mask selection is comfort and s...

Re: FF Masks/vs pillows vs nasal mask
According to most Specialists... you do or should breathe through your nose unless there's a reason not to... It helps with humidification through the nasal passages and nose hairs... The best mask you can get/use is the one that is comfortable and doesn't leak. From your description... its sounds l...

Re: Important Medical Question
I believe that popular opinion and some studies found that generally the opposite is true... Lack of sleep and lack of rested sleep increases BP. I have had a reduction in BP myself when therapy is working well. I also found that when I started Melatonin to help my Sleep Architecture... missing Stag...

Re: Newbie Struggling
Hi Brett There's nothing wrong with the construction and pressure delivery of your S8 Escape but... It has some very severe limitations for you in assessing your therapy. Unless there have been some updates to that model... It will provide you with Compliance Info and very basic AHI results for the ...

Re: Another Newbie / Wannabe
If you are getting a great seal with moustache and all... I would not discard it right away. The zits and sores can be a normal occurrence for people with sensitivities. Sweat... whatever. There are pads that fit between the mask and skin and alleviate all kinds of maladies. Look on CPAP.com for acc...
