Re: ENCORE PRO 2 - SD CARD PROBLEMS

Gil,
I have the Encore 2.2 software installed on Windows Vista and am using the DT 3500 usb card reader I purchased online to use to
download the data and so far haven't had any problems. You might give the old reader a try and see what happens.

Good luck,
Fred

Re: ENCORE PRO 2 - SD CARD PROBLEMS

Are you trying to use a stand alone reader that uses usb to plug into your computer or a slot that already exists in your laptop/tower?

Re: Urgent Help Needed to Adjust Clock on Respironics Machine

It's difficult to do by yourself, but not impossible. List of supplies: 1 Kanooter Valve (Rather difficult to find, been looking for years) 2 KGR 65's (Difficult to find at a decent price) 1 Ballpeen Frame Jig (This can be easily made using McDonald's straws) 1 Toyota throttle assembly (Make sure y...

Re: Links to Central Apnea

John, Thanks for bumping this back up and adding the information to it. Now if I can just digest it I will be be more knowledgeable about this CSA issue. Fred D. P.S. My card reader will be arriving via UPS tomorrow. Have the Encore 2.2 software installed and if everything goes right I may need some...

Re: help with install encore pro 2

I have installed the Encore Pro 2 software successfully on Windows Vista today. Maybe beginners luck. What I did was right click the .exe file for the software in its folder and select "run as administrator"; I then right clicked the same file and clicked "properties"-"compatability" and selected to...

Re: Finally Ordered Smart Card Reader!

Hi, Fred. FWIW, I was on fixed-pressure therapy (at 12cms) before I bought my BiPAP Auto SV last month. I, too, was concerned about how I might adapt to the rapid pressure changes with the ASV, but I'm happy to report that it's been a very smooth transition, and I love this machine. I'm sleeping be...

Re: Finally Ordered Smart Card Reader!

Yesterday, I also finally ordered a smart card reader for my Respironics BiPap AutoSV Advanced. Waiting for it to arrive (from Hong Kong) I ordered a DT3500 Smart Card Reader Price $36 with $33 shipping. (to Texas from Hong Kong) Have you gotten the reader in yet and how is it working? I picked up ...

Re: Share your OSA story with nurse researchers

I clicked on the link in her first post and went to where the study was described. I sent an email to the address I found there describing my history with apnea but haven't heard back from anyone. I must not meet the criteria for study but would be nice to get at least a "thanks but
no thanks".

Re: Need for humidifier

I can only speak from my experience. I have used a bipap for 12 years without one. I can't say if my quality of sleep would have been better with it or not. I don't feel I have suffered as a result but I will be able to know about that soon. I have a new ASV machine supposed to be here next Friday f...

Hey, I recognize that alien on the right. Isn't he the one in "Men in Black" that was guarding the Galaxy and had that cat called Orion?

Re: My boyfriend has apnea but refuses to treat with a machine

I know laying out the money to pay for a sleep study is not an easy thing to do much less think about BUT you might call around to the labs in your area and talk to them; explain you don't have insurance and see if they will work with you on paying the cost out. Maybe even lowering the price so that...

You are so right.... Gotta keep a sense of humor or you gonna go crazy.
I started to ask where you got my picture from but the face is to skinny, the hair's not white and......the ears are to small.
