Hi everyone I haven't been around for long time. As maybe some will remember I was trying to get rid of my CPAP after having had the green light from my specialist. It was winter time and I had sinus dryness problems so I decided to wait until summer time. I reduced the CPAP pressure to 6 cmH2O wile...

Re: Canadian Home Healthcare
Hi Sherpa Check the exchange rate before arriving to any conclusion. Now that we have a low dollar value it becomes expensive to buy whatever in USA. I know it very well, I just check it today. If the difference is not important it is maybe better to buy in Canada and you will have the grantee at ha...

Re: sick for a month could not use cpap
blueeyes Humidity from your CPAP will help you with your coughing. I don't have the study at hand but I have read the reason why people catch the cold on winter time is not because of the cold temperature but because of the dryness. It said the airways become dry and the bacteria and other crap find...

Re: side sleeping
I vote for the buckwheat hulls pillow. I tried all kind of pillows for long time and this is the best ever. With this pillow I can sleep on my back (with my neck problems not bothering me at all), on the sides (I have shoulders problems) and on the stomach using a full face mask. I have used nasal m...

Re: Fifth Night on CPAP
It toke me 6 months of trying to find the right pressure because of my incompetent doctor and 6 months more once I found the right pressure to wake up refreshed. I was a mess when I started CPAP.

Re: Weird Question...but then I'm a weird person!
Kathy, it is normal. You should have what is named a sleep debt, your body is paying it. In my case it toke months before I was able to wake up with an alarm because when I used the alarm I was hearing the sound but man I had such a HARD TIME to wake up no joke it was as a far sound I was hearing un...

Re: How do you stop sleeping on your face? (stomach/side sleeper
Same here as LSAT, I'm a stomach sleeper The buckwheat pillow is the best for me. The truth is I sleep on my back and the sides also but to fall asleep most of the time I go on my stomach.

Re: how do you get strap marks off your face inthe morning
If your wife puts make up this maybe won't be useful. I don't put make up I'm naturally beautiful I do 3 things, 1) I use Padacheeks on the straps and the cushion (for my full face Ultra Mirage), 2) I splash cold water on my face (on winter time it works well LOL 3) I put some hydrating cream on my ...
