Lifetime Nasal Mask Users
I started therapy about six weeks ago. I started with the Respironics FF Comfort Gel mask. The mask tore up my nose bridge. I used this mask on the advice of my DME. It made sense because I'm a mouth breather. It was also her opinion that a FFM delivers the best therapy because it mitigates pressure...

Re: Healthcare Reform What Would You Do
I'm applying for a union job. That way I won't have to pay the proposed healthcare excise tax. I'll let those rich people pay the excise tax.

Re: newbie bridge nose sore help
I'm two weeks into CPAP therapy and my nose is starting to "toughen up" I put hydrocortozone on the sore during to day to keep out infection.
To me a mask is like a new pair of hiking shoes--deal with a few blisters the first few miles.
Good luck with your therapy.
Peace, Paul

Re: Update re software for PR System 1 machines
I can't believe that a sleep center or DME would give someone a machine and not have the software or the capability to read the data off the machine. Maybe the new machines were just shipped to them without them being notified and now they are scrambling to get the software. Gerry I've had the PR O...

Re: Pulled the Trigger on a New Machine
I was dx with severe OSA (AHI 75) last month. My DME gave me a System One two weeks ago. I'm getting great therapy. 8 solid hours of rest every night. AHI is less than three. I feel better than ever. No more naps after dinner and napping away my weekends. Many here are down on this machine because t...

Re: Why does anyone buy the Respironics PR System One????
How do I accomplish the daily reset? I'd like to view my previous nights data on the LCD.socalmonkey wrote:The software is coming. They are working on it.
In the mean time, a daily reset will get you some data off the LCD screen that can be plotted in a spread sheet.
Thanks,
Paul
