I have both Has the doctor checked your ferritin (sp?) levels. I am currently taking an iron supplement for Periodic limb movements because my ferriten levels were so low.

Re: Do you know something about autism?
Again, I reiterate that not all children with Autism respond to a GFCF diet or other diets, sometimes they do. One of the children I work with is on the diet and it reduced some behaviors but he still has Autism. Other children respond very very favorably to the diets. It just depends on the child. ...

Re: Do you know something about autism?
I work as a Behavioral Therapist with children who have Autism. What kind of behaviors are you seeing? I would try to get the parents to take him to an Autism specialist to see what is happening. The GFCF (gluten-free, casein-free) diet has been good for SOME children with Autism but certainly not a...

gallbladder surgery and pain when using cpap
I had my gallbladder out about a week ago and haven't been able to use my cpap machine because on the inhalation I was feeling pain where the gallbladder was removed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I wait for the incisions to heal or try something else? I just tried it again tonight and wa...

Gall bladder pain and CPAP
Hello, I will be having my gall bladder taken out soon as I have been feeling a lot of pain and apparently it is no longer functioning. I have two questions, I have been trying to use my cpap when sleeping but it makes my pain a lot worse. Could the expansion of my lungs be causing trouble in that a...

How long does "sleep debt" last?
I know that it probably varies by everyone but how long did it take until you felt your "debt" was paid off? I am sleeping better now, don't feel like I have to take a nap in the middle of the day so that's good. Just wondering how long till I really feel better.

Re: Got new ResMed VPAP AdaptSV unit and mask ...
Hi John,
I just got the same machine. The sleep clinic said it was not capable of giving me data and that only the sleep clinic could do that. But you are able to do that with a cable of some sort? Could you help me out?
Thanks,
Heather

Re: Morning leg pain due to apnea?
I was diagnosed with PLMD along with complex apnea. My doc said that the PLMD would likely go away as the apnea is treated, however he also ordered a blood test to check my ferritan (sp?) levels. Ferritan is the stored iron in your brain. Sure enough my ferritan levels were low. So now I am taking i...

Re: Treatment vs. Panic attacks
Hi Dan, I'm glad that you reached out and that you feel good about the result. It is nice to know that you are not the only one!! I think it is good to see if treating the sleep apnea will resolve the panic attacks, however, don't go too long. Panic attacks and the resulting emotional and physical d...

Re: Treatment vs. Panic attacks
I suffer from panic attacks too. They tend to increase when I am feeling very stressed or when I am in a room with lots and lots of people and little space. I too am hoping that CPAP will lessen my anxiety and panic attacks and provide the restorative sleep my body needs. I also notice that during t...
