Re: Chapped/Hurting Upper Lip

Lanolin works great..........it's sold in any baby aisle for nursing moms. It's in a lavender colored tube.........brand name Lansinoh.

The lanolin will protect your lips and skin, eliminate chapping, help seal the mask, and make it comfortable all night.

Too many well said words Jeff..........but the man can only see what he wants in graph form. It's a form of blindness I think...............if only he'd take a verbal fast!

Re: Do I need higher pressure if my AHI is still high?

Pugsy, Brenda, jnk, Black Spinner, DoriC and others speak from years of experience.....newer members can totally trust their opinions and well meaning suggestions for improving care. Their own personal data is unnecessary to prove expertise, and is totally uninteresting to most people. Most individu...

Re: Poll: Should OT posts be banned from cpaptalk.com?

The OT posts give me insight to individuals...........like the OT posts, some I agree with, some I do not. Some I like, some I do not..........

There's no reason to ban them........OSA affects every area of our lives.

Re: Sleeping face DOWN

Anyone ever think that they could prevent their OSA if they had a way to sleep with their face straight down (without suffocating themselves)? This would be like sleeping on a massage table with one of those pillows with a hole for the face to go into. Anybody ever tried something like this? Did it...

I do not believe any of the machines will go below 4...........the ranges generally are 4-20 or 4-30.

Re: Questions about heated hoses

RobySue......... I use the Aussie heated hose with a fleece cover, and love it.........mine is plugged into a timer so it goes on and off everyday consistently. On weekends I sometimes override the timer........but appreciate knowing that I won't forget one more thing to turn off. Even with plugging...
