Would it be a worthwhile investment to buy the software for the machine?
I find the software to be good, but it's value decreases over time.

I used it often in the beginning to see what was going on and to tweak my therapy.

Now, I take a look only once and a while.

But that's just me....

omg people... we're talking a space suit next.... Actually, you could save money by making a full head mask. Take a small garbage bag, put it over your head and fasten it in place with an elastic around your neck. Then, put a hole in top for the hose and attach with duct tape. Voila, no more leaks...

Easy Hugh Jass, I'm just having fun with Unclebob, don't want to start a war with the Quebecois too. Have you always lived in Quebec? Ontario is only place I have ever heard heifer = girl. Don't worry..No war. I've lived in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and then Quebec for the last 25 years. BTW, I do...

Just like how here in the USA I might call you a babe, but in Canada they would think I was calling you a baby. Maybe a Canadian redneck (if there is such a thing..) would think you're talking about a baby, but speaking on behalf of Canadian males, we know what a babe is... I'm interested in your t...

Bob, Can't find the website concerning the possible side effect I refer to. When I was in my teens, I used to use an inhaler for occasional breathing problems (I'm borderline asthmatic). I stopped using it when I made the connection between taking a dose in the evening and being unable to fall aslee...

Flonase (and related nasal steroids) may be keeping you up..

A word of warning to those taking Flonase and other steroids like it, this may be keeping you up at night. I made the connection because since on CPAP , I have been able to fall asleep within 15-30 minutes, but for some reason this week I have been having trouble falling asleep. Last night took me t...

I believe the card holds 6 months of data.

I currently have over two months of data on mine....

When the information is downloaded from the card into Encore Pro, the file will remain there until you delete it.

Regards.

investigating this online, I found a study conducted by French scientists that validates this.
Ya, but who can believe a French scientist ?

Seriously though, please provide the link where you found this online.

I'd be interested in knowing who paid for the study....

Thanks

If you were to block off the hose , both the PB 420E and the REMstar auto will back off the pressure so that the blower will be damaged. I assume that this would happen only after a blockage is perceived and lasts for mnore than a minute or so, otherwise CPAP therapy wouldn't work. Blocking the hos...

It was when refilling his prescription , the pharmacist commented, I can't believe he can take that much prilosec and still digest any food. You need SOME acid for digestion. Seems like he would have extreme abdominal pain and vomit up the undigested food!!---Thank-you Mr. Pharmacist!!!! It's inter...

No, The APAP algorithm is more sophisticated than that. It senses your breathing patterns and recognizes when your sleeping or not. Sorry Mr. Wader , have to politely disagree. I know of no CPAP that can recognize when you are actually asleep. It would have to measure your brain waves to do that. S...

Bad part is that it will only show compliance for the last week if you do it thay way. You will still need to bring in the reports to show the compliance data if they ask... I have set my card not to erase the data after download, and I have about 3 months of compliance data so far. It's the therap...
