Re: Passover Humidifier
I live in the dessert and have had a passive humidifier since day one. At first I thought to buy a heated device. But I am having none of the rainout problems frequently associated with a heated device, and appreciate filling it just once a week not daily often required for a heated device. While so...

Re: Encore Pro 2 software
Encore Pro 2.2 is not currently available for sale. Encore Pro 2.2 is available free from Respironics, however they won't tell you where to look unless you are a provider. Unfortunately if the details of this were to be placed out in the open in this forum we run the risk of that hole being plugged....

Re: Need for humidifier
Need no, desired, yes. I live in the dessert so I have had a humidifier since day one. It is a passive or non-heated device. At first I thought to buy a heated device, and still may. But I am having none of the rainout problems frequently associated with a heated device, and appreciate filling it ju...

Re: Cyber Attack
Josef sorry your feelings were hurt as that was not my intent. While now your tone is that of soliciting for help, you original post came off as knowing what you were doing when obviously you don’t. There is no absolute protection against malware except not to use the web, hardly a solution. And jus...

Re: Cyber Attack
Let me see if I have this straight. After multiple malware problems and multiple attempts at protecting yourself with multiple simultaneous products you claim to have been “cyber attacked” because of sharing links here, and yet you continue to so and welcome others to join you? Are you serious? Anyo...

Re: Windows 7 installation issues
When using VMware you will need to install a copy of windows XP into the VMware machine. I have done this with a separate XP disk (or .iso file) but have read others have done it by downloading XP mode from the micosoft site. The hold up you may be experiencing with Windows Virtual Machine may be re...

Re: Encore Pro 2 software
Encore Pro is the Clinician or Dr. version of the software which offers full functionality vs Encore Viewer which just allows one to view the data. Frankly most clinicians are no better qualified to use Encore Pro then you. One needs version 2 or above to access PRS1 machines like yours. Sleep long ...

Re: Encore Viewer on Windows 7 RC 64 bit * edit * Won't run
While a virtual environment can be used it is not required to run EncorePro 1.8, as I have I done so natively in both Windows 7 x64 and in Windows XP as well. A virtual environment does however seem to be required for to run Encore Pro 2.2 though, at least in Windows 7 x64, so far. http://www.cpapta...

Re: ENCORE PRO QUESTION!
You are not likely to find new laptops with Windows XP, a 10 year old OS, nor is it needed. The answer to your SQL question can be found with the link below. Although it references Vista x64, this technique works for all Windows OS's and Encore Pro 1.8. All your CPAP answers can be found on this for...

Re: ENCORE PRO 2.2 Windows 7 Fix
Well it would be a great new fix if you found a way to run EP2 natively in Windows 7 or Vista, otherwise running EP2 in a virtual environment has been covered in previous posts. http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=48214&p=439504#p439504 Sleep long and prosper OK, I know there are several of...

Not sure what you mean by older machines above as I have no trouble reading my non-PRS1, M-series Pro smart card with Encore Pro 2.2.6PtStar wrote:.... EP 2.2 is the first Encore Pro that won't read the older machines.
