Re: Devilbiss Intellipap Auto Adjust Bogus Numbers
I just noticed there was a firmware release dated 12/2013 that sounds like it was to address this specific issue: V0.23 12/11/2013 Fixed a Quick View data refresh issue that caused invalid values to be shown when accessing the Quick View menu in the morning. https://www.devilbisshealthcare.com/dv5x-...

Re: Help! My new Devilbiss only worked for one night (long)
[quote="newanvil"]The morning after the first night, the machine suddenly started up all on it's own, even though I had the mask off and laying on the bed. Since then, the "auto-on" and "auto-off" functions have not worked. This is exactly what happened to me. One afternoon two weeeks ago the machin...

Re: How long did it take for CPAP results to show?
The morning after my first night w/my CPAP was miraculous. I was amazed at how good I felt, and I couldn't remember back to a time when I woke up feeling good, rested, and just so wonderfully alive. I remember running out of the bedroom to find my spouse and tell him how amazingly great I felt. In t...

Re: New Intellipap - Noisy??!!!! Help, please!
I went ahead and bought a new Intellipap from cpap.com; it works like a gem and is as quiet as my original intellipap. Its serial number is significantly higher than either of the two "new" models given to me by my local DME that were noisy. So maybe there is something else going on there. Doesn't m...

Re: Zest Sounds Like Airforce I?
I find I have to watch where the hose is - when it is right in front of the vent it is much louder than when I rotate it off to the side. Then it is quite silent.
Good luck!

Re: New Intellipap - Noisy??!!!! Help, please!
Thanks Wheezy - that sounds exactly like what I am hearing. I put in a call to Devilbiss Customer Service this morning (at the request of my DME); I'll wait to see what they say before I buy a new one.

Re: New Intellipap - Noisy??!!!! Help, please!
Emilia - Did you have an Intellipap before the one you got last August w/SmartFlex? If so, is your new one noisier than your old one? I don't think I have incredibly sensitive hearing - not when my husband is complaining about the new machine's sounds too. I am thinking the new machines are just noi...

Re: New Intellipap - Noisy??!!!! Help, please!
My local DME has "offered" me two new ones to replace the defective one they sold me. Both have been MUCH noisier than my original Intellipap - which is why I am thinking Devilbiss may be making noisy units now (?) I'm now labeled 'a difficult customer' by my DME and they won't offer me a different ...

New Intellipap - Noisy??!!!! Help, please!
I have been an Intellipap user for 1.5 yrs+. For several reasons (if you're interested, read below), I've received two new Intellipaps w/SmartFlex. They were both NOISY! The night I turned the first one on, my husband sat up in bed and asked, what was wrong with the machine, and whether he or it nee...

I was diagnosed w/REM-stage sleep apnea in June of '09. The first morning I woke up after a night w/my CPAP I felt better than I had in weeks, maybe months. After a few months on therapy I had lost 30 lbs and was telling people I felt better than I had in years... Now, a year and a half later I have...

New Intellipap w/Smartflex - old Smartlink - OK?
My Devillbiss Intellipap developed a problem in warranty, and they sent me a new one. This one has "SmartFlex" - oh joy, a bunch of new settings I need to learn to use. My overriding question right now is, can I still use my Smartlink module (purchased 10/2009) with this cpap? I haven't purchased th...

Intellipap Smartlink - export data?
I have a Devilbiss Intellipap w/Smartlink module. I want to export the data (e.g as a csv or txt file), as I want to plot it in another program (and merge w/my oximetry data). I haven't found an export function in the software. Anyone figure out where/which directory/what format the data are in? I s...

DeVilbiss Smartlink - Setup Required Error?
Does anyone know how to clear the "Setup Required/Contact Provider" error when using a Smartlink module? This error shows up when I put the Smartlink module currently in use on my machine, on a friend's Intellipap; when it is placed on the new machine the screen has that error with instructions to "...

Re: meaning of Intellipap settings?
Thanks for the information O! >I doubt your time for events is at the end of its ranges -- (note the numbers) and I would be even more careful about fiddling with that. And yes, you are right - my settings are not all at their max; they are (were): Apnea% - 20% Apnea Duration - 30s Hypopnea% - 70% H...
