Re: Philips recall priority update

. . . my first machine was $25. and my second one was $50. So, are you expecting philips to replace or repair the $25 or the $50 machine? Good luck; but I suspect that they have recorded the serial numbers of retired machines, and Respironics has no intention to service either machine. Still not ni...

Re: Philips recall priority update

So, your machine was USED, sold out of (or behind) a recently closed DME. I wonder if it was "rescued" from a dumpster by a hustling ex-employee, after it was written off as "destroyed" by the owners of the closed DME. Respironics may not be bound to replace a used machine. You could be on your own...

Re: Philips recall priority update

Bummer it says I am not matched with a DME provider yet, my original DME has shut down and I get supplies through the VA for the past 8 years. Apparently, respironics is restricted to delivery by "authorized" dealers. Why is the VA not a qualifying dealer? You really need to ask the VA that questio...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Side Plate - Unmuffled?

really don't care to buy a side plate if the machine takes up all of the same section of the case. The side plate cover isn't all that skinny either. It will take up about half the space the water chamber does when packed in the travel bag. There's more to the end plate than just the part covering ...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Side Plate - Unmuffled?

My side plate for my ResMed 10 takes up about 3/8th of an inch out side of my machine. I think I hear a little more noise.

Re: Using 2 macines possible?

I would check with someone else in the Tri Care system other than your Tri Care Doctor. I am through the VA care system and I have had two machines before I got on VA care back in 2014, they just gave me a new machine last December and they want to do a follow up in April to see how I am doing. I am...

Wow you brought home something with batteries in it and a 110 plug. Does it have a solar panel on top?

Re: Sleep Apnea relation to Chronic Sleep Impairment

Contact your locale Veterans Service Office ( VSO ) or Disabled American Veteran organization ( DAV ) for help. If he has a rating for PTSD then he is in the VA system and there is no charge for his medical bills or CPAP equipment. I googled Chronic sleep impairment and there is other things that ca...

Re: Cold weather camping and airsense 10

Years ago I went on a camping trip where the temps were in the teens at night. Before I left for this 9 day trip I weened my self off of the humidifier and left the humidifier tank home. I would wake up a little frosty around the nose but sticking my bald head in the sleeping bag helped a lot when t...

PR system One 560p Data

I just bought a used PR System One 560p with 400 hours from a sleep study. I do not have the clinical manual and there is a lot of old data on it that I would like to clear. I can get into the doctor setup and see a reset data but not sure how to reset it, how do I reset the data? I down loaded Slee...

Re: Solar battery chargers

I would think a 45 Watt solar panel would keep your cpap powered up with a good battery as long as you don't use your humidifier. I made it twice in the wilderness for 8-9 days with an 18 amp battery and two 12 watt folding solar panels. At the end of my trip my battery votage was getting low, if I...
