Re: Jaw pain, Headaches and Sleep Apnea
Yes you can have TMJ and have apnea... and they can be 2 separate things. I have that. Recommendation... find a good dentist, get a bite guard that is fit to you, don't go cheap and just get one from a sports store. Then get your sleep sorted out, make sure that your mask isn't pushing your chin dow...

Re: Ears feel plugged up
I too have ear problems... but it's not related to xpap usage. Nasal rinsing actually makes my ear problems worse. For mine I have to see an ENT.

Broken mask
I've been on my machine for years, just haven't been online here. Friday night (long past business hours) I went to mask up only to discover that the valve on my mask... the rubber piece had decided to come out of where it's attached to the hard plastic. I'd been wondering why I had been more tired ...

Re: Seven months -- whazzup with these numbers?
I actually use the mask that you've been talking about... it's the original Hybrid.
Karen's good at wrapping it... just ask her I don't get as much leak slippage with Karen's wraps as I can guess you'd get with an actual cap
I wrap mine due to other scalp issues (scalp psoriasis)

Re: Sleep Apnea and an Autoimmune disease
I have multiple autoimmunes... plus sleep apnea, really depends on which one(s) you have to know whether it'll impact your breathing or not.

yeah... finding them cheap... I just checked my local craigslist tonight, don't know if it's a mistake but there's 3 auto bipap (PR 760's) for $1/each.
if they're still there this weekend I may go shopping

Doesn't specifically mention osa or cpap. Mentions insomnia and exhaustion, so I'm dealing with them. Doc says to give it 3 months.

Enbrel
Anybody have any insights as to what if any impact I should be seeing? So far... Some insomnia and some exhaustion. Taking this due to a combination of psoriasis and arthritis. Amazing the amount of medication changes that can happen when you have to change drs. I have only been on it for 2 weeks.

Re: New user...pillows for mouth breathers? Hybrid?
I have been wearing this mask for years now. The Innomed Hybrid is the one that I use. Has nothing on the forehead. Has straps on cheeks but I keep those well padded. I like the chin rest. Definitely would get it online if you're wanting it in order to get all of the sizes of pillows and cushions
