Nice to be remembered! Strokes really suck big time. I'm sorry you had one too. I plan to be more active as brain recovers.

Good to hear from you, Muse-Inc. Not so happy about the stroke, but glad you're getting better.

Palerider means OSCAR ..

Thanks, good to be alive & good to be able to post again and thanks too for the welcome back. I'LL read that Pugsy post. But I still need a backup APAP.

Re: Is a 0 AHI score actually possible ?

Wolfie, I used to have multiple, consecutive AHIs of 0 but that was prior to a massive stroke that stole my cognition and language. It put me on months of full-time oxygen support and in a wheelchair, then a year in asst living, and now independent living...3 surgeries, covid variants twice (thank g...

Anyone use ResMed S10/11 with access to full data?

Escape, S8, and two S9s died (extended hours), using third S9 with 20,000+ hours and no backup ... yikes 😳. Anyone used/using either of the more current models that enable display of the full data like my S9 shows daily? My NP said ResMed added something that will enable me to get the full data (I t...

Re: FFM Cushion moving during sleep?

Make sure face and mask are free if oil before putting mask on. In my case, any oil prevents a good seal.

Re: Cpap "flipping" over

I put a rubber matt under mine (the kind you use to keep dog bowls from slipping around). I haven't flipped it since. Tried that and have been using a non-slip mat for years. But with the hose connection on the back, the non-slip does not prevent the cpap from rolling over. I turned my S9 around so...

Re: Mask Merry-Go-Round

2 masks. I used the pillow mask, used in my split-night sleep study f,or approx 2 yrs. Then, with the help here, I successfully transitioned to the Innomed(now RespCare) Universal Hybrid. I had become a mouth breather and could no longer use Afrin to manage my nightly closed nose.

Re: pressure range questions

As my sleep doc said, if the leaks aren't bothering you (think sleep quality) don't worry about them. That is if your #s are good. My own experience is that you can drive yourself nuts trying to explain everything that happens when we sleep. If my #s are good, I live with the mystery of why for nigh...

Re: trying masks

I cannot get a good seal if I have lotions, etc where my mask sits. I use an oily skin micellular water on a cotton round where my mask sits after I wash my face.

Home sleep studies are basically overnight recordings of your saturated O2 levels. If your level is low ot you show other common symptoms, it's likely an in-jab study will be ordered.

Re: AS11 washable tub vs standard tub

While I no longer need a humidifier, I always got the washable so I could disinfect and clean. I used distilled water, rarely just filtered followed by vinegar soak.
