Re: Any DME recommendations for CPAP equip?
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I a moving to AeroCare now. I have used American Home for the last 10 years, but seems the last year they were absorbed into LinCare and the quality went to crap. I started receiving incorrect orders, when reported they did not come to get it, a few weeks later ...

Re: Mirage Liberty Mask Cost $6000 in Ortho Treatment!
May as well add me to the list as well... I am not a troll but do troll this board from time to time... I use nasal pillows (F & P Opus 360). No chin strap anymore, but do use a bite plate as I learned some years ago I clinch my teeth when I sleep. After having to have one of them fixed I bought a c...

Re: Subconciously addicted to my CPAP machine
Although I rarely post on here anymore, I feel compelled to respond to this post. I have been on cpap for probably about 5.5 years now (APAP actually). Long history of snoring, as does my dad and his dad before him... Some years back a visit to an ENT for an ear infection wound me up in a sleep lab ...

Re: Alternative to Apria?
I can vouch for American Home. Never had an issue with them... they call me about every 3 months and tell me what I am eligible for... I tell them yes or not... just got my replacement machine from them about 2 months ago (S9). This last go around I wanted to try a new mask (one with a bite plate in...

Re: Apria or American Homepatient?
Just to throw my 2 cents in the hat... I use American Home.. a little over 5 years ago I went to the closest office (Ft. Lauderdale) and picked up my new machine at the time (F & P HC254). they were real nice and responsive to al my questions\needs. I have not been back there since, but they do call...

Re: Graphs using Performance Maximizer software
I can vouch for the error message, I get the same thing (Windows 7, 64 bit). There is at least a few dozen of us on here that have the full version of the software. I started using it with Windows XP and it worked fine, the graphs would display without issue. Really, not sure why they do not display...

Re: OT: Swift LT pillows on ebay
I have at least 20 (used) from my Opus 360 (size medium).
Not really sure why, but when one starts to go bad (2 nights of leaks in a row)
I toss em in a drawer.
make me an offer!

Re: Cleaning the tubing
like the person above me, I also submerge in soapy water (baby shampoo and water)... something I picked up on here many moons ago... I then rinse clean and submerge in a white vinegar/water cocktail... disinfects everything... I do it on a Sunday morning every week, and let air dry all day over the ...

too much reading but I skimmed a lot of it... time to interject my 2 cents into the pot before I go back into my recluse of anomomnity once again.... We do not need to eat flesh to survive... It is a tradition taught to us by our parents and their parents before them... One can read the bible and in...

Re: Mouth Breathers
I use nasal pillows (Opus 360). When I started I tried taping but for some reason it made me yawn more and it became a challenge. One of the members on here (Pugsy) introduced me to chin straps (she sent me one to try) and it worked for me... I then got one from my DME that I used for a while... I k...
