Re: New F & P Nasal cushion mask called the Solo
One night under my belt with the Solo mask. No problems. It's a nice little mask. I could use it long term if I had to but while it is a nice little mask....it won't be displacing the Eclipse from the number one priority of use spot. Had a small amount of leak which was probably mouth opening leak b...

Re: Anyone else experiencing connection problems here on the forum
It's not fixed. I have seen the same message (I posted a screen shot of it above) no less than a half a dozen times already this morning. Last night was so bad I couldn't get online for about an hour and I thought maybe they were working on it....so I went to bed with my fingers crossed last night.....

Re: Need a new cpap machine
What is the brand and model name of your current machine that is broken? Do you happen to have (or can you get) a physical copy of your cpap RX? Do you have to use insurance or is your wallet deep enough to pay out of pocket without insurance involvement? Places like cpap.com will require a copy of ...

Re: For Sale: VirtuCLEAN 2.0 CPAP Equipment and Mask Cleaner
That's an Ozone cleaner. It will void any ResMed warranty if you use it. I don't know about other brands. I do know that Respironics doesn't promote ozone cleaner use either but they don't sell cpap machines any more (in the US anyway). Ozone cleaner use has been known to damage or cause breakdown o...

Re: Rough First Night On Bi-level
I would be over my head with the ST machine.  It wasn't your best choice of models for sure. It was designed to work better for people with some very specific respiratory issues because it works more like a ventilator forcing a person to breathe when they don't/can't breathe on their own....

Re: Rough First Night On Bi-level
So how did you come to be trying the ST model and in S mode? Do you have your doctor involved or are you doing all this one your own? Are you aware that machine doesn't distinguish between central and obstructive apneas? That's how come you have a truckload of UAs flagged....it dumps all central apn...

New F & P Nasal cushion mask called the Solo
So I got this new mask from F & P to try just for grins. It's called the Solo https://www.cpap.com/productpage/fisher-paykel-solo-nasal-mask?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpOmXqqDXhQMVYFh_AB1hngGGEAAYAiAAEgK6pvD_BwE https://www.fphcare.com/au/homecare/campaigns/our-mask-range/f-p-solo-mask/ I just n...

Re: Anyone else experiencing connection problems here on the forum
That's already been done. More than once.
The owners are working on it or rather escalated the problem to whomever does their IT.
I mentioned this earlier in this thread. Did you miss it?

It's not fixed. I had that same message no less than a half a dozen times this morning within the 2 hours I have been online.
Sometimes it takes multiple times clicking on the "retry" to get it to finally load.

Re: New User Can't Stop Leaks
If you can't get it sorted out easily....take it back to where you got it and let them give it a try as well.
While it might be something simple that needs to be done.....it isn't impossible that you got a lemon and there is a 2 year warranty on these things (in the USA anyway).

Re: New info on Airsense/Aircurve 11 problems
what about the questions I asked? Will Medicare pay for the heated hose and a battery backup if the doctor puts it in the prescription? Medicare (and other insurance) WILL pay for the heated hose. It is considered a covered expense and there is an appropriate HCPCS billing code for it. HCPCS billin...

Got that message 4 times in the past hour and a half since I posted earlier.

Re: OT; the other sleep demons that haunt our nights
You know to fix a pain you have to figure out what is causing the pain....and that's no easy task sometimes. You probably should see your doctor and go down the diagnostic road so you can know what you are dealing with and that will dictate your treatment options. Have you tried a heating pad? Have ...
