Re: new to Medicare

Thank you everyone for your responses. I will be exploring who to use for supples, but in the meantime I got what may be the deal of the year through a local Buy/Sell group on Facebook Friday night an Air Sense 10 Autoset with just 820 run hours for $300. It all checked out when we met up, the guy s...

Re: new to Medicare

I have a copy of the study from 2010 and the Rx but I suspect my new primary will want to complete a new study to get a RX for a newer machine.

Re: new to Medicare

Thanks. I have not has a sleep study since 2010 and have been managing it all myself very well after a couple of follow up visits in 2011. I bought my earlier replacement machines from LSAT on this forum on my own dime. Looks like I will need to most likely have another sleep study scheduled

new to Medicare

I will be going on Medicare next month and am wondering who folks are using for mail order supplies. Will I need to get a new Rx? I am hoping to avoid a new sleep study and will be looking to get a new machine next year as well. Any advice pros and cons and experiences are much appreciated. I have b...

Re: Thoughts about CPAP pillows?

I love my buckwheat filled pillow - I have it perfectly adjusted with just the right amount of hulls. I wish there was smaller travel sized one.

Re: Dme's driving me batty

I bought my own filters off of Amazon taking that out of the equation for the next year. Every three months ? No! I have 3 big dogs and now that my kid and SO, have moved in 4 cats so once a month at the least. Smh. What I really want and why I am trying to get set up with a new dme is the hose. I ...

Re: CPAP Special bed pillow?

Yes, I bought one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NERG2O4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and love it. I even take it with me when I travel, usually. I have 2 of these - the original one I keep at or summer place, one for home and just ordered another tonight as a matter of...

Re: The Dishwasher Safe Water Chamber for H5i™ Heated Humidifier

It is tough to remove that inner rim piece the first time - I use gentle pressure loosening all the corners a bit at a time and then remove it. It does get easier the more familiar you become with it.

Is it too late to get in a testing? I have 2 couple of the all buckwheat pillows and love them ( a couple of versions), but this additional foam has me intrigued

Re: Aromatherapy

The aromatherapy oils are not put into the water chamber. I use the "clear" scent every night - it really helps and now after 5+ years it is part of my nightly ritual - a few drops, laninosh on the nares, mask up and lie down off to dreamland . I too have the original ceramic plate with the nice fab...

Re: Travel - JetBlue

you will be fine- I fly JetBlue all the time. They are well aware of not counting it towards your carry on allowance. The most that may happen is a glancing look from other passengers as to why you were "allowed" 2 carry ons

enjoy your trip - Jet Blue is my favorite airline

Re: ResMed S8 Autoset II and masks/mask cushion, etc for sale

Not that it is any of your concern to speak about my dear departed best friend and how he accumulated these various masks ( who I am still grieving over BTW) - but a person accumulates these because he has an unscrupulous DME who is now in jail for medicare/insurance fraud - sent him masks and suppl...
