Re: Oral Applaince
That's great news. Glad it's working.
I'm curious to hear what your status was prior to starting with an oral appliance? moderate? medium? servere?
And what average AHI did you have when you were relying on a cpap machine?

Re: Air Quality affecting sleep
I am in Oakland and the air has been at dangerous levels for days due to the fires. For the first time in some 10 years of daily cpap usage, I am grateful to have the unit. The air filter is seriously helpful. It's shocking to see how much crap it's screening out and preventing from getting into my ...

Re: using cpap in russia
The one thing to expect in Russia is power outages.
Depending on where you are staying, I'd also be concerned about theft.

Re: mask storage
I hang the hose over the headboard (with the hose snug fit in a soft flannel hose cover.) With my mask still attached to the hose, I hang the mask by its straps over the hose. Luckily, the cat hasn't shown any interest in this set up. Extras are stored in a plastic zip lock bag in a box on a shelf. ...

Patent fight between ResMed & Fisher/Paykel
I thought it was interesting to read about international lawsuits flying between these 2 companies.

I tried them before my diagnosis. I'd say they were definitely useless for me.

Re: Replacing machine - Respironics or Resmed?
I just got a new PR System One and adore it. - super quiet: almost can't tell it's on - goes dark: they've changed it so it really is dark after initial "get settled in" period is over - easy to read info: easy to access AHI for the nite and average for the week etc. and best: - my AHI is super low!...

Re: Replacing an older machine
Based on comments here, they both are excellent machines. For me, the decision was easy: I responded better to the algorithm of one over the other.
Can you test drive both and see which suits your better?

Re: Airfit P10 Headgear Loosening Up
i love this mask. after several years on cpap, this is the best one for me yet.
these are great suggestions for re-shaping the strapt. but it's very cheap to replace it.

Re: First time in over 6 years for AHI 0.00
When members report in about their zero AHI's, I wonder whether it's really a random thing or whether they did something special or something special occurred that day. Anybody else recall something special about their day that later resulted in zero AHI readings? I've had quite a few zero AHIs bec...

Re: 3d printed cpap mask
I think the potential for this more nuanced than just revivifying some out-of-print gear. The notion of a custom-designed mask/pillow made-to-fit is ... breathtaking relief.
