Sleep Apnea and TIAs
I have both Very severe chronic obstructive sleep apnea and COPD, do these disorders cause the brain to not receive enough Oxygen? I have experienced TIAs lately and am wondering where is causing it.

Re: Where A CPAP Newbie Should Start
HELP! I keep taking my mask off on a nightly basis! My Doc has been asking me how long I keep it on at night, but being that I am ASLEEP(duh), I have no idea. But, just this week it occurred to me to compare how much water has been used in the Humidifier. HAH! NO Water is being used, that must mean ...

Water Bubbling Up Hose
This morning I was woke up by my CPAP bubbling water up my air hose, which was very noisy. My Humidifer was closed,so what could have caused this to happen. The only other times that this happened was when the Humidifier was open, I checked but it was closed.

Re: Sleep Study
If I can remember correctly, I have been using my CPAP about 4 months. At first it was set on 10, now it is on 14. I do not know when I remove my mask only that it is done in my sleep. I do not have access to any numbers and I do not know how to access them. The Doc is the one doing the readings and...

Which ever it was it was bad and it really scared me; afterwards I thought that I was going to die in my sleep They all told me that ...

Sleep Study Results

I am still only 2 months into using CPAP therapy, the doc said that I went right to sleep when the machine was set at 40. But, he sent me home with my machine set at 10. What do these numbers mean? The only time that I can tell that my CPAP is pumping air is when I open my mouth(I am not an open mou...

Re: 'Very Severe' Chronic Obstructive Apnea
Thank you so very much for responding to me and for the great advice,I sure do need it right now. Presently, my machine is set at 10, which is really too low.
