Re: Sleepyhead shutting down?

And furthermore I'm not part of the audience. This place doesn't belong to either one of these guys as some stage or TV we're supposed to watch. It's sickening watching the favoritism play out here. Truly the most disgusting thing I've seen here in the over decade I been here. Too bad this place wen...

Dunno what this is about so much, but I couldn't agree more. then why are you commenting ... when you don't understand what is happening when you take something out of context .... as I just did ... you change the meaning of it . His assessment of "palerider" is universal, that was my point. It doe...

Re: Sleepyhead shutting down?

Discussion is one thing....even heated discussion...petty name calling is another. There's no need for the personal attacks on people here and for sure no need for petty name calling. How can it be petty name calling when it's true? I've seen enough of palerider's behavior over time to see it as be...

Jedimark is not punishing us due to PaleRider.
He just said "You, with your narcissistic soul-draining attitude nearly killed the project back then, and now, you, you ever-leaking pustule of vitriolic indecency, played a big part in my final decision to put an end to this project... "

Re: How do I clean my headgear?

I ended up running them through the washing machine with the clothes a few times, then the dryer on high heat. Good as new :)

Re: Lips forced open by pressure while lying on back

I think this is a Resmed problem I had a Remstar Pro Auto CPAP before and there was no problem. This Resmed is a nightmare. I'll try the Sleepyhead software and post it to see if someone can figure it out. That's strange. I've always had this problem. My previous machine was a respironics m series ...

You, with your narcissistic soul-draining attitude ... you ever-leaking pustule of vitriolic indecency, Dunno what this is about so much, but I couldn't agree more. This "palerider" person sets a truly nasty tone in here. I had to block it because it was making the boards too unpleasant to visit. T...

Hand wash it in the sink ..hang it to dry. Not a big deal
Tried that, it didn't take the oils out or the nasty smell. It is really set in there and hardened. Going to try soaking next and boiling after that.

How do I clean my headgear?

I don't think just throwing it in the washing machine is going to clean it. I didn't realize it was getting so filthy, but now years worth of skin oils is set in it and it smells nasty. Do you think boiling it might work? Anything I should put in there with it to break up the oils? This mask isn't b...

Re: Not good sleep last night

You are right. I didn't change anything on the machine and today I'm feeling much better. AHI is recorded as 0.45 and I only woke up once in the night.

Not good sleep last night

I don't understand everything on these sleepy head charts. My AHI last night was 1.66 and I don't feel like I slept well. I didn't sleep enough hours and my dog kept waking me up. She doesn't normally sleep in the same room as me, but something had her spooked last night so she wanted to sleep in th...

Re: Introduction and thanks

Why would a rotation of masks be beneficial? Just wondering/curious. I've been using the same mask for years, I think it's really great. I get a lot of migraines too but they don't seem to be connected to any certain time of day.

Re: New Member back on CPAP...

They spent a good part of the night smack up against the absurdly low max pressure. Absent other pressing needs, it needs to be raised. Your "advice" is poor, and will do nothing more than delay getting the OP to an even better nights sleep. OP says they feel better and have a low AHI to prove it. ...

Re: New Member back on CPAP...

I know from experience that having a really wide range like you suggested can cause arousal problems even when there's isn't aerophagia. The range doesn't matter if the machine doesn't go anywhere near the max. It becomes a moot point. The machine won't increase the pressure without a good reason p...
