[quote="krousseau"]No they do not try to retreive the "camera" it is simply a tiny transmitter, "flash", and 24 hour or less power source. It is well sealed and a friend who had the test last year says it was the biggest vitamin she ever took-her insurance paid-for which she is eternally grateful.

Hello, Not that it helps you at all but yes, it can take a while. I think I waited a month before I got my results, equipment and mask. They say that the hang up is with the sleep lab reading and interpreting the results. I was told that the report is 800 pages. I am not sure how true this is but th...

I can see how all of this can come into play. I know that it takes time to get through all the red tape but here is the kicker....when I first went in to talk to them about switching providers they had the hybrid....two days later when I got all the insurance wrinkles ironed out...boom...no hybrid a...

I would absolutely invest in a FFM for the winter. Even the hybrid would be a good idea. Something that could compensate for the congestion, IMHO, would just make it that much easier for your body to be at its best to fight off the bug.

Really need to vent about Hybrid avail.

I am so frustrated. I HAVE to go to a local DME for my equipment. I have been trying to get a hybrid mask for 3 weeks. The DME just keeps telling me that they are waiting for it to come in. I talked to someone again yesterday and they said "maybe they are behind on manufacturing because EVERYONE wan...

I would be thrilled if this was true. I am waiting for my hybrid to come in and have been hesitant. If the chub makes it seal then it should be no problem for me..LOL

We have a "collection" of pillows around our home--foam, down, polyfill, small/large, hard/soft, in betweens, small & lg cervical. The one I like best is a extra soft down pillow from Scandia Down that I can fold in half if I'm on my back, scrunch into shapes that don't hit my mask if I'm on my sid...

Is this the case with the hybrid?

It seems to me that the hybrid seems to work better for people with a more rounded face vs. a long thin face. It seems the full cheeks make for a better fit???? If this is the case than I am a perfect candidate for the hybrid..LOL.
