Re: Dreaming is good, BUT... (Kinda OT)
Hi Karen: I take Mirapex for my legs and the movement, it helps. I also dream a lot. Funny thing is-I dream about being at work, and I retired in 1997. I worked in a factory in Lansing Mi.-Oldsmobile-when it was still there, it's gone now. But I dream about being there at work. I see people I worked...

Re: Specialty Pillows??
I bought a special pillow when I had a Quattro. It was the kind with the hollow places on either side for the mask to go in when you turn over. It didn't work for me. I was out $50. Make sure it's right for you when you pay for it. Sleepy Boy-(Larry)

Been Too Long Gone!!
Hey it's Sleepy Boy (Larry) I haven't been on here in a while. Between losing the wife and then getting a knee replacement a week ago, I've been pretty busy. I'm doing good, legs doing great, and my life is getting back to normal. I've missed the "stuff" on the site and my friends here. Plan to get ...

You might try some Ayr gel. I've had real good luck with it on sore spots. Sleepy Boy-(Larry)

Re: Quattro not working, now what?
Hi Hobbs: I went from the Quattro to the Swift LT five months ago-been happy ever since. Leak rate from 2-6 every night. Much better than anything I've tried before..

Re: What size Swift LT pillow?
I would look at your AHI's and see which pillow gives you the best numbers. I use the medium and I stay under 5. I have tried the small, but it leaked. I guess it's just a matter of choice.

1 Year In July..
I just realized I had 1 year in on July 3rd. I can't say it's been all good. But it's much better than what I had before when I had to force myself out the door each day. I've found lots of help on here, and thank all of you for keeping me on the right track.. Thanks, Sleepy Boy-Larry..

Re: OT- Knee replacement surgery
I had my right knee done 7-8 years ago. And I'm getting my left one done Oct. 18th. I'm 100% happy with the first replacement, and hope this one goes as good. If you do what they tell you, and workout like they tell you, I'd say you'll do good. The only people I ever heard of that didn't do well wer...

My Thanks to all of you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. We had a beautiful Memorial service for Rosy yesterday. I'm back home now, and ready to start moving forward. Thanks so much.

Re: Respironics Auto M-Series and power inverter?
Hi nomore: I have a power inverter in my 5th. wheel. It's a Kawasaki 1500 I ran mine (Resp. Auto M) off it all summer. I had a Whistler 1000 before that, and used it also. I use four 6 volt golf cart batteries for power. Hope this will help you. Sleepy Boy..

Re: O.T. Loss of a spouse
Larry, Words are sorely inadequate. Please know that I am sending you my best wishes in your time of sadness. I am so sorry for your loss. When you have time and feel up to it, could you tell us a bit about your wife? Brenda Well, she was 62 Yrs. old. She loved to fish, camp, ATV ride, mushroom hun...

O.T. Loss of a spouse
My wife (Rosy) & I were camp ground hosts this summer. We came back home on Sept. 1 and Rosy died in her sleep that night. I found her the next morning. She had 6 heart surgeries. The last one being the Maze Procedure. Her last 6 mo. were the best in 20Yrs. I'm looking forward to reading all the "ne...

Re: Polident Strips or Paste - Need instructions from a "pro"
Hi Joy: I've been using the Poligrip cream the last 3 nights. I wet my bottom lip, wet my finger, and put a little cream on the wet finger. Then I smear it on my lip trying to cover the whole lip. Then I just close my lips like they would be normally, and in a few minutes their sealed. Clean up isn'...

Re: Poligrip-Minty Fresh..
3 nights on the Poligrip, and it's working good..I'm sleeping good without the chin strap. I'm getting 6.5 hours of sleep, my AHI is 7.1 a little high, but better than before.. I was hoping some of you that tried this stuff would post up about your experiences with it...Thanks, Larry....
