Re: OT-How to go in for sinus surgery and come out with Crutches
Last june I went to the ER in severe pain, the admitting nurses cell phone rang, and she told me to just wait while she answerd it and had about a 3 minute conversation, and it was NOT important, she was right in front of me, I could hear everything. I was already in pain, and then I was mad as heck...

Re: My Husband and Sleep Apnea....I need you help
I know i did not realize how bad my apnea was getting, I was like your husband is now. Finally I had several family members who I rarely see, tell me they were worried about me, and they only saw how bad I was for a few days. Thank God I have people that cared enough, I think for me it was the numbe...

Re: How much should I bump my pressure?
of course it would be best if everyone had data capabilities and software, unfortunately he doesnt. so in this instance, it is probably best if he try a small change and see if it helps. should he just sit by if hes not feeling better? if he goes to the doctor, the doc has no data to go on, he would...

Re: How much should I bump my pressure?
If all he has is a machine without data capability, what other choice does he have? Yes, the ideal situation would be for everyone to have data capabilities, but unfortunately thats not reality. So it seems to me that hes trying to do the best he can with what he has. At least hes trying to improve ...

Re: Apnea Treatment in 2050
I was such a zombie before CPAP that during commercials on tv, I struggled to remember what show I was watching. Cathy LOL i thought i was the only one that did that. Wait a second, maybe thats why grandpa changes channels everytime a commercial comes on, he has OSA. But seriously, I am the first i...

Re: How much should I bump my pressure?
Give the guy a break, he does not have a data capable machine. If he wants to improve his therapy, either because he isnt feeling great now or he just wants to try for the best therapy possible, this is the only way he can do it. The only measure he will have is if he feels better or not. He has bee...

Re: Anyone "take breaks" from their CPAP?
seems to me you wouldnt be able to enjoy the cruise to the fullest, just recall how you were pre-cpap. I wouldnt want to pay all the money for a cruise and end up sleeping through most of it. You could find a MUCH cheaper hotel closer to home to do that in.
