I don't know what kind of mask you are using. although many people resist a full face mask, in fact it has always been easier for me because the entire airway, including my mouth is pressurized. In this way, no air pushes into my mouth and I find this much easier.

You'll get used to it.

just use tap water and rinse it every morning and let it dry. It'll be fine. If the tap smells from chlorine, use bottled. Nothing wrong with it.

Afrin is an amazing drug but only use it for a few nights. Get a nice full mask as a back up. Also try the whole netipot thing.
