Easy to do
1 unplug machine
2 hold down both buttons while plugging machine in
3 set your stuff and your good to go

Gee whiz my old machine is only 18 years old and drying it with the machine seems to not have hurt it a bit.

I have used them to intubate folks in the emergency room.

Rather effective in a pinch but if you feel you need something like this consider a tracheostomy instead

You'll be fine. Your air exhausts at the mask and there wouldn't be any significant inhalation at that area.....and even if there was, there couldn't be enough buildup of CO2 under the covers. As a mac user I can only agree and champion your cause yet I keep a pc laptop from a garage sale for just such occassions

when the pc laptops no longer work we use them for home base during softball season {^:^}

it takes time to make friends with these things

unfortunately it usually involves a good deal of trial and error
