Re: Hybrid Universal & Mirage Liberty Masks
Thought I'd try posting this one more time ttt (sorry) as I have an appt tomorrow with the DME folks. Plowing Route 66, So did you get a Hybrid? We can help you adjust it and I have a special way of dealing with the "flap/no flap" question. Regards, Should have mentioned, of course, that my DME did...

I hesitate to bump posts to the top without adding or asking anything further of value. But I do want to say thanks to everyone who took time to provide such helpful detail in their responses to this question. So very helpful!

Re: About to buy cpap with data, which one would you pick?
It's looking like a significant number of folks here prefer the ResMed S8 Elite II over the Respironics M Series Auto. This is a comparatively minor question, but with respective humidifiers, is the S8 Elite a good deal bulkier for travel, as it appears to be in comparison to the M Series?

Thanks for the responses here. But why did you cut the chin flap off, Pam? And doesn't the edge cut into you now?WearyOne wrote:I prefer the Hybrid as well (could not get Liberty to seal), but I cut the chin flap off my Hybrid.

Hybrid Universal & Mirage Liberty Masks
I am really interested in whether the Hybrid's chin flap helps keep your jaw from dropping open--and if you do some mouth breathing, whether this mask then tends to leak anyway? I had a bit of trouble with the Liberty in having to tighten it too much to prevent leaking. Have any of you used both of ...

Re: Newbie - urgent oximeter question
My first oximeter had a very fragile type of attachment to my finger with a tiny cloth tape that came unstuck throughout the night, and the instructions were that additional tape could not cover the light area. The second one I was given had a clothespin type clip over the entire tip of my finger wh...

Re: CPAP BED PILLOW !
[quote="birdshell"]I didn't know there WERE soft and firm options! I just checked and didn't see that choice on the Target site. Are you sure that the Shapeable comes in two firmnesses?
Karen, I have no idea--"soft" or "firm" versions were mentioned by a number of the reviewers.

Re: Breeze mask w/pillows
I'm curious about how stable this mask (with the nasal pillows) for side and stomach sleeping. Looks like alot of pressure would need to be placed pulling up on the nose to keep it there.

EncorePro software for Respironics M-series Pro
What does EncorePro have that EncoreViewer software does not have? And where can EncorePro be purchased? I thought it odd that cpap.com does not offer this version.

Karen, just curious about whether you use the soft one or the firm one of Target's Shapeable pillows. The reviews are confusingly "all or nothing," which seems unusual.

Re: How do y'all afford all this stuff??!
Insurance comes in many forms, If you have a high deductable it's because you have a low INS premium, or you made a bad choice. Some of us have good INS, some do not, and some have none. We all have to row the boat we brung. By not smoking or drinking, I can buy what I need, but I never took vacati...

How do y'all afford all this stuff??!
Sorry I am so in the dark, but I guess I just don't get some simple concepts where insurance is concerned. I have $1000 deductible. Aside from this new diagnosis of OSA, I have relatively few medical appt's each year. This year, my $1000 deductible has not even had a penny paid down, despite a numbe...

Mirage Swift LT question
Yike--my Swift LT makes flapping/popping sort of noises at the nosepiece during the night when I am turning over from side to side. I think I've been using this mask for a week now--love it--but absolutely cannot consistently figure out how to fix this. Mind you, this is always in the middle of the ...

Comparing Auto CPAPs
Can some of you knowledgable folks explain the difference between these two machines? Sorry that I may need some sleep to get it, but haven't been able to easily see it as I scan the descriptions tonight.
