Re: Newbie
What bothers me about that one is the fact that it at least appears to require that you clench your teeth all night to keep it steady. Not a good idea, if that is indeed the case. Just my opinion.

Re: So THAT'S what y'all meant by Rainout....OMG!!!
I've had that happen to me also. What are the dohickeys that are used to cover the hoses. Is that the point, to keep the hose warm. I live in Florida but keep the AC on 74 degrees. Whoops--Sorry. I should have linked the post below when making that reference. It was a thread I was writing to yester...

The mask to start considering, if you reallllly want to sleep on your stomach (as well as on sides and back) is the " Headrest " nasal pillows mask by Aeiomed: https://www.cpap.com/productpage.php?PNum=1717&PAID=215 Have any of you tried and compared the Headrest to the ComfortLite2? I would be ver...

So THAT'S what y'all meant by Rainout....OMG!!!
So I went to bed last night as usual, with window open, dry hoses, relatively new Target Shapeable pillow (suggested here), mouth taped nicely in blue (amazing how that has never once bothered me ), saline in the nose.....and TA DAH...my newly created little doohicky invented by Feeling_Better, lini...

Re: confused about software and card reader
You won't have any problem doing that on your M series APAP with A-Flex machine itself. You don't need software to change the machine settings. When your machine arrives from cpap.com, there will be a card in it (look through the bag to find the card) called: Quick Setup Guide. That "guide" shows c...

Re: confused about software and card reader
...Respironics came out with the "Viewer" version for the end-users because the "Pro" version could be used to change the settings in the machines. (like we can't figure out that anyway). Den Yike, again. I thought the software I just purchased was to make an easier job of changing the machine sett...

Re: confused about software and card reader
OMG. I just ordered the M-Series Auto A-flex bundle from cpap.com, and the software they include (and have just shipped) is the Encore Viewer 1.0jules wrote:
For the Aflex APAP or Vista, the version of Encore Pro needed is 1.8 (instead of Encore Viewer).
What's up with that??

Re: My fix for rainout (condensation) in Swift LT nasal pillow
An immediate postscript to my note.....Being the insufferable packrat that I am, I just went to my sewing supply (junk) cabinet drawers, and found the perfect no-stitching-needed solution. Perhaps. I have a lifetime supply of heavy round cotton cording that I have pulled out of athletic pants with e...

Re: My fix for rainout (condensation) in Swift LT nasal pillow
FeelingBetter, can you tell us how effective this ingenious invention has been? I have time this weekend to mess with it...will search my drawers and closet for an old pair of shoelaces which might be cotton. I also found that I actually have a pack of oil lamp wicking, but it is about 3/4" across a...

Re: Expecting a battle with a DME provider
... USUALLY the xPAP is the rental, the carrying case, and manual being part and parcel of the rental; and the rest of the equipment, humidifier (even if an integrated humidifier) hose, mask, etc. outright purchases at time of provision. This is the part that worries me. I did go ahead last night a...

Re: Expecting a battle with a DME provider
When you recieved your equipment from this local DME supplier you had paperwork to sign and should have been given a copy. In my case, there two "statements", one for the CPAP itself, w/costs showing monthly rental, and one w/the humidifier, etc. showing sales price. Check your paperwork. SleepMed ...

Re: FREE PurSleep (Aromatic) Samples
[quote="jsmythe"]My apologies for not posting sooner Thank you so much for the samples. Love them all! However, I had to stick my nose in each individual baggie to see what each smelled like. Yes, they seemed to mingle together (my whole mailbox smelled great too!) and were sorta dried too much to c...

Re: Expecting a battle with a DME provider
I very much appreciated all the thoughts and suggestions given to my original post on this thread--have been ruminating and waffling over what to do for the past week. Mostly struggling with whether to give up the possibe convenience of a brick & mortar DME if I should have problems with the equipme...

Ah--disjointed conversation link here, but just read the correction/clarification by Rooster on MaryB's thread titled "Hybrids not being made anymore?" All is well! Thanks.
