When I was in Thailand for 2 weeks, I used bottled water. There was a mineral deposit left on the bottom of the tank. I cleaned it when I got home and started using the distilled again. I would use distilled when you can and bottled water when you can't.

The titration is not "based" on the original study. The original study just said whether you had OSA or not. That doesn't impact the titration which is to determine how much pressure is needed to stop your apneas. The pressure needed has nothing to do with the number of apneas.

Your machine is data capable so it records a bunch of information every night that you use it. Using that, you can discover if your AHI is good and if your leak rate is bad.
