Re: My husband is an a$$hole seriously!

It could be that your husband is coming from a place of guilt. "He" can't fix you. So he lashes out with some ugly comments. I suspect this isn't the first time he has acted thoughtless and it won't be the last. That said, have you considered couples counselling? If he won't go (yet), go yourself. G...

Re: Nasal Pillow - feel like I bumped my nose

If you need lanolish more than a night or two, you have the wrong size (or wrong mask). Try wearing your nasal pillow looser. The pillow should not feel as if they push up against your nose.

Re: Can CPAP cause pain in lungs?

you could have a fungus growing in your lung. start with an xray and go from there. I live in the south and it's not as uncommon as you would think, especially if you're on a wet hose all night. clean your equipment, folks, and that includes the hose (which should be changed out every 3 months, by t...

Re: Optilife making my nose hurt

try some Lanolish or a water based gel for a day or two. The nose has a way of healing after a day or two and it should stop hurting. You may have the mask too tight. My nose never got sore with the Aloha, but it did my first night on the Nasal Aire. I used a little Vasoline for one night (probably ...

That was confusing. check out the hosts page. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/innome ... igodigital
hope that helps. I never needed the main headgear, just that one tie in the back, but everyone is different.

Re: Help with Nasal Aire II

I wore mine behind my ears with a tie (anything to loosely tie the two tubes together in the back of the head. My tubes were about 4 inches apart behind my head). There are a hundred ways it can be worn and they should include a head strap that lets you custom fit the strap. Look at the photos for s...

Re: Aloha and Pilairo

I get the insurance, but don't most manufacturers offer a 30 day return or exchange policy anyway? At least an exchange, right?

Aloha and Pilairo

Aloha return insurance was 9.00 and the cost is 99.00 (on our host's site)
Pilairo return insurance is over 45.00 and the cost is only 88.00

does that mean that less than 10% of Aloha's are returned and over 50% of Pilairo's are returned ?
how is the insurance determined ? Does anyone know?

Re: Unfortunate

if you find something you bought from the host on secondwind for instance, why should they have to price guarantee that price? Also, people run specials... this host offers insurance and if the product is hardly ever returned, it's under 10 bucks. My aloha insurance was under 10 bucks because very f...

Re: Full Face Masks

Most a lot of us are mouth breathers when we start and don't want to deal with chinstraps and tape. Some of us just want to option of opening our mouths to breathe if we want. Some of us are on such high pressures that most pillows blow right off our noses.

Re: I need a reverse ramp

See if you can't get another sleep test after all that weight loss. Unless you have centrals, you may not need a blower anymore. It's worth getting checked. Too much air is as bad as too little.
