Yup, just like all those fools who fell off the edge of the earth back when it was flat.

Re: Essential oils - can you just put a drop on the Filter?

False advertising. "Essential" oils are unessential. Funny thing about words, sometimes there is more the one definition/meaning. In this usage, it isn't that the oils are "essential" to have, but rather they are the "essence" of their source. As in "the fundamental elements or characteristics of s...

Re: Essential oils - can you just put a drop on the Filter?

Thanks all for the replies. I guess I am just having a hard time wrapping my head around the functional difference between a diffuser disc in front of the air intake and a drop on the filter itself. Really don't want one more thing on the nightstand. I have a couple oils that are very easily dispens...

Essential oils - can you just put a drop on the Filter?

I have a Res-Med AirSense 10 and am interested in using essential oil. I understand putting a drop or two inside the humidifier tank is a no-no, but was wondering about just putting a drop on the filter. It seems to me this would be a lot simpler than messing with cotton balls, diffuser disks, or ot...

Mike - I thought I replied, but saved it as a draft instead - sorry, check your PM's now.

Tino - Looks like I posted my update about the same time you PM me and we crossed paths, have replied to you as well.

Sorry for the confusion!

Re: Anyone need S9 stuff or Swift FX mask or medium pillows?

Ok, everything is spoken for except a couple of ClimateLine hoses are left $40 shipped (in US) and 6 medium pillows $10/ea shipped (US)

Thanks!

Anyone need S9 stuff or Swift FX mask or medium pillows?

I have a couple of heated hoses, some filters, two H5i water reservoirs, and a couple of Swift FX masks and several (10 or so) medium size pillows that I do not need. All are new in packaging from non-smoking house. Would rather deal with folks here instead of eBay, so if any interest in any or all ...

Any outlet to sell/trade Resmed items now?

Since Resmed is playing their bully tactics and nothing Resmed can be sold on cpapauction.com, is there any other option for folks to do private sales of unneeded items? Seems kind of silly that simply swapping pillows and making unused items available to others has to come to a grinding halt becaus...

Re: Most Important Back-up Item?

I'm sort of betwixt and between the argument of whether the machine or mask is more important... ... I only have one mask that will really do the job. I have other masks, but I know that only the one I use now works without causing other problems. That's why when my mask broke recently, I opted to ...

Re: Summary of my first 45 days on the S9 AutoSet

I am liking the S9 too and have been using it for about 4 weeks also. My results aren't as good as yours, but pretty darn good. I'm curious about the software...where do you get it? does it cost much? Is it easy to download? My DME says I don't need it because she can tell me everything I need to k...

Re: Most Important Back-up Item?

A dialled in mask, including any mask accessories like pad-a-cheeks etc, is BY FAR the most important backup item. The flow generator and other hardware are pretty much the same from instance to instance of the particular item, but a mask (aka interface) that has been adjusted over time to your par...

Summary of my first 45 days on the S9 AutoSet

Numbers are great! I can't believe how frequent my nights with AHI <1 are! Leaks seem to come and go, but I have started sleeping on my back more (oh how I missed that!) and I think I am occasionally mouth breathing when I do. Very happy I went to the Resmed, the fact that it uses standard SD card, ...

All hoses are smooth bore, they just look like they have ridges the wire is on the outside.
