Re: OT: Time out and/or Duke it out thread

Back in the day, Dori's "time-outs," as I saw them, were a running joke and were used by Dori as a way to use her respected and loved role to give a kind reminder to people who welcomed her personal input on their behavior. Heck, in the old, old days, even Snoredog would get out of the way when he ...

In the 33yrs that I have been in the IT Crowd,
never got myself into a situation like that.

My creed for IT customer service was/is and will remain,

Re: What more checks I should do to my brain

For some of us (not all), the best way to change our brain chemistry is to increase physical activity and modify diet. For example, going to bed early and getting up early to exercise (outdoors if possible) before work can make all the difference when it comes to tiredness, sleepiness, mental clari...

Re: Teeth Grinding

I'm curious...for those using store bought guards....
are they hard or soft?
The guard I got from my dentist is hard. I thought it would be
soft. He explained that the idea is for your teeth are able to move
over the guard.

Re: Teeth Grinding

I wear a night guard. Custom made by the dentist. Pricey. It works well. Took a few nights to get used to. Would not sleep without it now.....just like my cpap. Sort of feels like I have aisle 2 of hardware at Home Depot in/on my head at night. Without it I was facing some major dental problems... a...

Absolutely worth the effort. Exercise your brain. Mahjong for example. Learn to play a musical instrument. Mine is guitar. T...
