[quote="jsmythe"][quote="lktnky"]Thanks so much, Hawthorne. It's good to hear encouragement from those who've made it. I think, though, that 'making it' is a day to day thing, yes? I've had a bunch of trouble with my Respironics machines. I've had 3 since January. None of them would consistantly rec...

Hawthorne, Yes, it is a bipap-Respironics BiPAP Auto M (until tomorrow). Isn't a pressure setting a pressure setting, though? I'm still learning and it's an upward curve for me! I've been at this for 9 months now and I'm still tired. Add to that 'discouraged'. Ok, and a little weepy, too. Last night...

Simplicity mask
Do you find that with higher settings, that the nasalmasks blow off your face? Mine are 14/10. I've had the lowest AHI & leak rates with the Comfort Gel, but lately it's cutting into the bridge of my nose and leaking. (The mask is new.) I think I'm stressing out - even though I start getting ready f...

So far, I've only had it skip a day. I'm superstitious, though, I leave it in there until Noon, then I read it. Might be the card's going bad. Can't hurt to get another card. Good luck!!!! Babs I've been through 3 (count 'em, 3) that wouldn't record any data. I know it wasn't me. I'm waiting for my...

Simple spreadsheet to chart nightly results
My Respironics BiPAP Auto's smart card would never consistantly record my nightly data so I started keeping track of the daily data from the screen on a simple spreadsheet. It then occurred to me that if I have data on a spreadsheet, why couldn't I create a chart to visualize my progress. I realize ...

Respironics BiPAP Auto M w/humidifier
I've been on BiPAP since Nov 2007. I used my first Auto M for 2 months until our insurance changed & I turned in my first machine. We've had to work with a different DME since January and have since been through 3 Respironics. None of the card readers would work. I'm waiting to get my 4th machine in...
