Re: Dreamweaver Vs Tap Pap

Thank you, Pugsy. I did buy one of my extra Breezes at cpap.com, but could not afford another at retail, so that is very nice to know that they can be found on EBay. I had not thought of that. You've always been a very helpful person. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of posting on one other thread ...

Re: Poll Re: Apnea and Your Weight

Wow, I am not selling anything at all, nor did I suggest at all that all Lyme causes all apnea. Thanks for making me cry. Since my opinion is not wanted her, I will leave and will not be back.

Re: Dreamweaver Vs Tap Pap

Noe: Even though my profile correctly says I use the Breeze nasal pillows, this post insists I am using Dreamwear. I'm not! From reading the threads about Dreamwear here, I appear to be one of very few who cannot tolerate the Dreamwear nasal mask. Just in case someone else was reading and reluctant ...

Re: Poll Re: Apnea and Your Weight

I am almost certain my hypopnea is due to my Lyme Disease. Apnea/hypopnea is very common in late stages of Lyme, and can almost always be cured with 3 weeks of a combination of several antibiotics, all of which I am allergic to. Lyme is far more common than most people think and is not just carried ...

Re: Bubbles on my back!

Thank you everyone for your answers. As I said in my post, I do use a tight chin strap and it's the only one that works for me. It is also listed under equipment at the bottom of my posts. That ruby one is way too hot for me. I am allergic to the squishy material in full face masks and the reaction i...

Re: Magnesium and Apnea

I take 170 mgs. of Magnesium Citrate at 10 pm, again at 2:30 am and again at 5 am., when I have to get up to take other meds anyway. I need it for the palpitations caused by fibromyalgia and the constipation caused by drugs for a heart rhythm problem, and it's best taken away from foods. I think the...

Bubbles on my back!

Hi all, I recently started sleeping on my back for the first time in my life, after finding that it relieved my severe early morning back pain. The problem is that I can't seem to exhale normally on my back. The exhaled air does not come out of the head gear, but out of my closed mouth in little bur...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread

Hi Pugsy, Thanks very much for the suggestion. I am a mouth breather, using a tight chin strap so I can use nasal pillows (why I can't use a full mask is a long story), and also have a malocclusion and TMJ in remission with cranial sacral therapy. I looked into the Tap-Pap when it first came out and...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread

When my DME just told me that the Breeze, the only reason I've been able to use CPAP at all, is discontinued, I bawled my eyes out. Then I came here to look for suggestions. I have very high cheekbones, and other attempts to change, like the Swift Mirage, dug flaming red ditches into my face. I ende...

Re: Medicare to begin competitive bids

I got the same slick brochure today and spent the afternoon on the phone. My lovely little personable DME lost the bid, and the only choice I have in my area is the dreaded Lincare, with their one star out of five customer satisfaction status. I was told by another small DME I called that was just b...

Re: Scan of my results (what is RERA and UAR?)

Gosh, I am sorry for what you are being put through. I am no expert on most of this, but I do know an awful lot about fibromyalgia, and UARS is definitely a real thing, and one that is extremely common in fibromyalgia patients, along with 24 hr. a day hypopnea and alpha wave intrusion in to delta sl...

Re: lincare complaints

I had this type of problem with another big DME in my area called Baycare. They never filled my orders on their automated order system, and I had to keep calling the local office to get supplies from a real person, they sent reams of paperwork with each order when I finally got it after a month, and...

Re: Must the machine be below your head?

Thanks to Boyce and to Pugsy for your responses..... The machine only is really loud when I first turn it back on, just like my old one. I thought that meant the motor was having trouble starting and it was about to conk out. Maybe there is nothing wrong with the old one except the card reader not w...

Re: Must the machine be below your head?

Hi Boyce, Your picture is great and says it all! That's what I'm like in the morning, since I never get more than five hours of broken sleep. Without a humidifier set on one, I get a very sore, dry nose and severe sinus congestion and post nasal drip to the point where I cannot talk. It is just too ...
