A lot of answers to you post slipped past me. I had to read them to catch up. It sounds like you are doing what I am others have tried, we change our breathing timings listening to the machine. The machine is trying to learn our pattern and we have to ignore the machine and let it find the rhythm, i...

[quote="leslie"]My HH always has condensation, but it has never had a bad smell. I use only distilled water in it, in case that makes a difference. Once, when I was on vacation, I put a little too much water into it, and some of it got into the hose and I woke up in the night, making a loud clicking...

[quote="leslie"] Has anyone had a power-outage during the night? That happened to me for the first time last month. That's a freaky feeling.

Hi FIfi, I find exhaling often very hard work and somewhat exhausting but I put it out of my mind so I do not think about it. If this is what you feel after 7-8 years on CPAP, you might want to consider changing your machine. There are newer machines nowadays - the Respironics Cflex series -that gi...

I have lots of hard drive, 1,000 GB, (I save Video). I did give the Lincare my smart card that they kept for 3 weeks and still were unable to read the data. So I erased everything prior to the gap. My Dr. can't read it either, but I can.

Re: Hello All- Progress Report

As I mentioned, I have used Simply Saline a couple of days and it has helped. I have stopped taking Sudafed altogether although I am still using Claritan. Tonight I have put the mask on unattached to the machine and figured out a way to get my reading glasses on so I have read the paper for awhile,...

Welcome, you have the right machine, the one I want, I found this site after I got set up. Mine is good too. You need to get the software and reader to use with your machine. There are posts on this site telling where and how. The software lets you control the treatment you need and lets you know ho...

[quote="njy"]Ok, I have to ask... just when should the "feeling better" part kick in? I have been attempting to use this thing since September. I find that when my snore rate is high 15 to 25, I don't feel as rested. I run FF at 14, I upped the pressure to 15 and the snores dropped down, I feel better and the AHI dropped to under 2.0 Some machines may react to snores (APAP) maybe My CPAP doesn't seem to. I do fell better at the higher press...

As Rested Gal said, you are very lucky, 10 is close to the magic number needed for most people. My AhI was in the high 70's and I run 14 and not 15 with AHI under 2.0 avg.

What machines do you use and can you get software to show how much you are being helped?

Keep up the good work.

If the ASAA doesn't qualify as relevant, I'm sure synchronizing carburetors is off limits.
ASAA doesn't use filters, Cars and Motorcycles, and HoseHeads do!
