He went as far as saying some DME'S are shysters He even asked what I thought about my wifes apnea a...

Re: New to cpap . Crazy leak. Fiisher paykel machine icon auto
You may try increasing your lower pressure a bit closer to your theraputic pressure. 4-14 seems like a very wide range. Maybe set it 1 below and 1 above your titrated pressure. try this for a week.

Re: Another back up power question
What machine do you have? Will it run on 12V? You can go to Radio Shack and purchase the proper connector. It will last longer on DC than A/C so use DC if you are able.

I'll check mine weekly or so when I feel something has changed to check the AHI. I am usually having problems with the Hypopnea index th...

Re: Higher Pressure,More Apneas?
Hello, I'm not really sure how to explain this so here goes. I believe that EPR increases at different pressure levels is this correct. Did you increase your pressure? As you exhale the EPR kicks in and causes a momentary drop in pressure, Then you inhale. This MAY be interpreted as a blockage or fl...

Re: Do you purchase a new mask every six months?
In 9 years I have had 2 masks. A resmed ultra mirage and a resmed Activa. I have replaced the headgear once and the face seal once. The bridge broke on the ultra mirage and I replaced it. Thats all. I don't use face cream, makeup, have a pet or beat my equipment. Its a scam by the DME's to get your ...

Re: 'Centrals' - Clear Airway Apneas - 1 year anniversary
Something about centrals. In a nutshell " Independent research has documented that cardiac oscillations on the airflow signal accompany only 60% of all central apnea events during manual PSG." So, what does that mean? The machine probably does even worse at scoring and classifying central apneas. An...
