Re: Not sure the sleep doctor has this one right!

I would like to get off Melatonin, but when I forget to take it, I lay awake until 2:30 am or so, then go take it. They are 5mg and thought I would cut them into 1/4 size and see if 1 1/4 mg would be better! It would take time and determination but I think you would have to wean yourself down below...

Re: Not sure the sleep doctor has this one right!

Yes, I agree my sleep quality sucks, but would like to improve it. Scan and post the sleep study in it's entirety. Load and post some representative CPAP nights into SleepHQ. This message board is not very conductive to posting attachments. In 4 days I have only been able to post one attachment and...

Re: Not sure the sleep doctor has this one right!

Unfortunately, I keep getting an error: Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached. It showed mostly ca instead of oa. I believe that was a function of the pressure. I take melatonin, and niacin at bedtime and metoprotol succ (beta blocker),Tylenol, Gabapentin and Celebrex. I sincerely appre...

Re: Not sure the sleep doctor has this one right!

I finally got the attachment uploaded. Question 1: Why do I sleep so long? Question 2: Are there any better settings to reduce snore and obstructive apneas and not cause central apneas?

Re: Not sure the sleep doctor has this one right!

Hi pugsy. I registered on this board a long time ago, so have patience with me. I now have a new Resmed Aircurve10 and had decided not to chase any more rainbows with the Resmed AirSense10 Auto although it is only about 1 year old. I have OSCAR and it works on both machines. I only have two nights ...

Not sure the sleep doctor has this one right!

I just took a new home sleep test and it seems to be equally as good as the one I took in a sleep lab in 2008 including sleep EEG for sleep staging, sleep onset and arousal data.Their summary: The patient had 137 apneas. There were 22 obstructive apneas, no mixes apneas, 12 central apneas, and 103 h...

Re: Help: AHI-6.07 - What is wrong?

:D Thanks Julia, I'm sure you are right, but not enough to have to adjust the suspension seat on my tractor. The consensus seems to be 14/20 so I set it up to that and things seem to be better. LSAT: I also set the epr=2. I will run it at these settings for a few weeks and let you know how these set...

Help: AHI-6.07 - What is wrong?

My AHI is very high and not helped with pressures up to 17. The clear airway apneas are almost as high as the obstructive apneas and the hypopneas are over 4/hour. The events are primarily between 6 and 8 am. Two years ago, AHI was around 1.0. I need to get a handle on why I cannot achiever the prev...

Re: Engineer, and I'm curious if I can help

Hello CPAP community. I am a product engineer for CPAP masks. I have been in this for more than a couple years now and am seeing CPAP masks going though significant changes both the the past couple years and in the next couple years. As you can guess, just like the scientests in Area 51, they don't...
