Mark me down as a snuggle hose cover (gray robots) over Aussie hose person. I used a baggie but it still took about 10 minutes to wriggle it on. I've also got PadACheek covers (blue stars) over the exposed hose section of my Breeze.

And to vent it like a Aura stick some 1/4' hose in the vent and run it up hose just past the clip.
Could you elaborate on this? I'd love to see a picture.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "uncompensated apneas". With an AHI consistently averaging less than 1.0, I'm not sure I could kill off any more apneas. I'm sure most of the ones left on the record are not actually apneas. They're things like me holding my breath as I turn over, or the hose r...

Here's are my MyEncore charts for SI vs pressure and AHI vs pressure:

Image

Note that 9cm is the sweet spot for AHI, but SI would require me to raise the pressure to a worse spot for AHI.

Thanks to MyEncore, I know that I could reduce my snoring by bumping the pressure by about 2-3cm, but that'd get me into the pressure range that starts getting me centrals. I can live with a few snores.

The Aussie hose makes it much easier to comply with xPAP treatment. Two thumbs up.

Apnea/Hypopnea Index (AHI): 6.3 events/hr. This is not bad, but could be better. We usually aim for an AHI of less than 5. Fraction of Night in Variable Breathing: 11.0% Looks like you may not have got the REM sleep you need. If I had those numbers, I'd consider bumping my starting pressure to 7 or...

I think the subject if off topic here. We're here to talk about OSA and treatment. There are plenty of places to talk about cartoons elsewhere.

I do a lot of taxes (over 600 clients last year), and for the most part the people who can make it over the 7.5% of AGI bar are on fixed incomes and have staggering medical expenses. IMO, anyone who qualifies really needs the deduction. jimh1 and Janelle have listed a lot of the possible deductions....

Your medical expenses need to exceed 7.5% of your AGI before you can deduct them. Sorry.

More or less, only people who have had major problems with their health can deduct anything medical.

I'm hoping Severena will post a picture. I think that'd help us understand what's going on so much better.
