Breeze First Impressions Compared to My Aura/Headrest
Received my Breeze this evening. After taking it out of the box, I was amazed at just how little there was to it. After hearing how top heavy it was, it seems very light to me! Put it together, and messed with different adjustments. (There are a lot of adjustments to this interface). Found one that ...

Are you using the correct size pillows? They are just supposed to rest on the outside with just the tips barely inside. If you gently pull it away from you face do you feel air? Is air blowing out of the vent? When you open your mouth, do you feel air? If yes to all of this, it is probably working f...

Lori, What does the Thinsulate look like? Does it come in a bag like the polyfill batting or am I barking up the wrong tree? I am going to try it. I want a heated hose, and I'm sure it is great with most interfaces, but so many people have said that they still get rainout with the Aura and heated ho...

I seriously doubt that they will give you a general anesthesia for an endoscopy. The general norm for this procedure is to administer conscious sedation. You will be awake but very relaxed. They will also probably spray your throat with a numbing spray. It is a very minor and routine outpatient proce...

I have one and don't like it. But that is just my opinion, since others like it. Leaks a lot, and when I tighten it enough to not leak, it makes a horrible mask outline around my face that lasts for hours. Also my AHI was high every time I used it, and I did not find it comfortable. It has joined my...

Can you inhale rainout into lungs?
Last night I experienced a whole new problem with my Aura. I have been using it on bypass only, with good success. However last night I was very cold when I went to bed and turned on my humidifier to warm up the nose a little. It is only on 1, but still causes rainout with my Aura/Headrest. I was sl...

LOL, very good post! I used to make fun of my Mom and Dad for getting AARP magazine. In the past few months, I was served my notice. I chose to ignore it. However, I found myself actually reading one the last time I was in the Dr.'s office. I hid the cover so no one would see what I was reading. The...

I had allergy problems before using CPap. I actually thought they would go away since I was now breathing filtered air, but they are worse and go on all the time, no matter which interface I try. I wonder if it could be the force of the injected air causing irritation inside the nasal passages and s...

And "those were the days my friend"! Couldn't have said it better myself. Ok, I'll give my age away also. Born in 1953,and grew up in a small coal mining town. We only had 2 channels - 7 and 9, and we were thrilled with that on our old B&W tv that had tubes in it. And, we only had 1 tv, not 3 or 4....

I never had severe apnea, but moderate. As far as life change, I no longer have 6 day straight headaches, don't have to take those nasty headache drugs, and I am sleeping for 7 or 8 hours a night vs 4 hours a night. That being said, I guess it has made a HUGE difference. As far as feeling like a new...

Lori, Funny you should bring up the subject and glad you did. I have a runny nose most days and can't explain it. Yesterday, I thought I was developing a cold, but today I am fine. Sometimes my nose just drips clear water. Very, very annoying at work, and it lasts most of the day. I do suffer from a...

Although the Aura is my favorite, I have it on bypass only and just get a few drops of rainout. Not enough to affect sleep. I keep my machine on the floor and the hose is not on a hook. I just turn over the same way each time I shift positions and never have a problem. With the Swift, I have the hum...
