Re: quick question

You have to get the Tab-less new filters Respironics has started making for the PR System One series. These also should work in the older M Series. In the OEM quest for lower decibels, Respironics has engineered a better fitting quite filter. Google CPAP Filters and Supplies - Many sites will pop up...

Re: Filter Problems

The M Series and the PR System one series are 2 different models. The Tabbed filters fit fine in the M Series, but "POP" out of the PR one system series.

Re: Filter Problems

Make sure you have the newest Respironics PR System 1 filters OEM # 1063096- they replace the faulty tabbed filters.
The newer filters are thinner, fit better, have less pressure drop and reduce noise levels.
Can get them at CPAP filters and supplies com

It is also possible to purchase "hypoallergenic filters" that have a fine layer inserted within the filter to trap more allergens. Gail Gail, Resmed has Hypo-Allergenic filters available for all the machines. Each has a layer of high efficiency electrostatically charged media. They are available on...

Re: Any tricks to keeping PR S1 filters from "jumping" out???

The new filter (1063096) was developed about 6 months ago by Respironics to fit bette rinto the PR System 1 machiens and reduce noise levels dramatically. Found some on google cpap filters - I think some of these websites sell the new ones designated (1063096).

Re: Improved(?) PR 1 Filters

All, I know some of the engineers at Respironics and it was explained that there is actually a surface are increase - almost 15%. Notice that the seal on the edges of the new filter do not extend inwards like the M series. That 1/8" perimeter seal does not filter it is a waste of filter area. The ne...

Re: Improved(?) PR 1 Filters

All, CLARIFICATION: The PR System 1 machine initially used the same filter as the M Series until Respironics developed a disposable tab-less filter that fits much better in the PR System 1 machine and reduces noise dramatically. These filters are referenced by OEM number 1063096. I have only found t...

Re: New Rx in hand...new DME search. Help?

For filters and masks: these are not a class 2 medical device and are much cheaper on ecommerce sites rahter than atempting to buy them at DME's. Mainly due to not needed an RX for these. Google cpap filters and you will see a list of companies.

Re: Improved(?) PR 1 Filters

The difference is package size. The 1029331 is a pack of 6 ultra-fine filters. The 1035442 is a pack of 2 filters. These are standard for M Series, but were also used by Respironics for the newer Pr System 1 series. The actual newest filters are 1063096 and fit better in the new PR System One series...

Re: Another question about Resmed S9 filters

Resmed does not directly sell HEPA Filters. They do offer Hypo-Allergenic filters for replacement of the S8 & S9 models. You can purchase Bacteiral filters that are standard for all CPAP units that fit between the Hose and the Facemask. I found some good ones for the Resmed S9 series on a site calle...
