Re: What's Going On With The Forum

We have considered IP banning, but there are a few legitimate users in the range of IPs in use, so we can't go that route without further investigation. We have some other ideas cooking as well.

What's Going On With The Forum

Hello everyone. Sorry for the mess around here lately, it seems the spammers are running amok on the board. We're currently working on cleaning things up and adding in some preventative measures. We hope to have things back to normal soon.

Thanks for your patience

Re: New CPAP Library Site

Howdy All, Sleepnationtv has done good work in the CPAP community. You guys are welcome to continue posting here. Thank you for your work. A lot of people build their businesses by interacting here and I think this is a good thing. Heck, I sure have. That said, I think it goes to far to say "I run C...

CPAP and Sexual Topics

Howdy, Frank/serious discussions relating to sexual topics and CPAP use are allowed. If the thread gets taken off a serious question and onto a less mature/serious discussion, I will lock it. If you want to have a debate about what does or does not constitute acceptable reactions to sexual topics, c...

SleepWeaver Lady In Hospital, Needs Warm Fuzzy

Howdy, Both David Groll and his wife Kathy Groll play active rolls developing and promoting the SleepWeaver CPAP mask. Kathy had some bumps in her medical road, the surgery went well and she is expected to remain in the hospital all this week. The hospital has a system that lets people email directl...

Calist Banned

Howdy All, I've banned calist. See the update here: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t56329/Who-here-works-in-medicine.html I hate banning people. It is almost always the wrong decision. I've done it here. I want to be crystal clear about why: 1. Calist could have disagreed strongly with how CPAPta...

Strapparatus Is No Longer A Member Of CPAPtalk.com

Howdy All,

As censorship and CPAPtalk.com don't mix, Strapparatus is no longer a member of CPAPtalk.com. I hope he will reconsider. Until then, apologies to all members who have a <Removed By Admin> or similar edit to their post.

Wulfman Hits 10,000 Posts!!!

Howdy All, This is the official thread on which to gape in awe at Wulfman and his 10,000 posts. Lets put this in perspective: 1. If Wulfman had 100 bucks for every post he made, he'd be a millionaire. 2. If Wulfman had biked 1 mile for every post he made, he'd be about 100,000 miles behind Carbonman...

Additional Information: (01:56:12 PM) bonnie.pittman: It is unfortunate he hung up on her before she could offer to look into it for him. He would have his battery and be ready to go on the camping trip. I issued orders to clear the way earlier this morning and you haven't given us the chance to hel...

Re: Misuse of CPAP's forum by Spammer's private messages

Howdy, We are aware of this and are working on a fix. As per usual policy, we'll "titrate" the level of restriction. Currently, we're thinking of adding a captcha (that image you have to type in) if more than 10 PMs in an hour are sent. This would mean someone mass spamming through PMs would hit the...

Re: Product Challenge 9: Chinstrap Challenge

Howdy YardBird, The Product Challenge is intentionally setup to mimic real world conditions. We want to know how the Sullivan will do against the Premium as measured by people who have paid their hard earned dollars for a Premium, use it and are being offered an alternative. I see how people would t...
