The instructions tell me to dump it and let it air dry every day. I figure it's a germ thing.
IMHO leaving it open exposes it to germs every day.
You never mention where you are getting water from.

the water has sat in the tank all day. I'm not really sure what to do about this. Any suggestions?
Why are you concerned about the water being in the tank all day?

Re: PSG Results question

I got my PSG results few weeks ago and i got a 40 AHI score as opposed to my previous HST one which was 2-3. What was the name of this HST? A PSG is more detailed in what it checks for and detects. I had a very high ratio of hypopnea to apnea with hypopnea making up 80% of the AHI number which is u...

Re: Error Message

Since signing up I've been getting the attached error message every time I navigate to a different page within the website, and it's made navigating the site quite difficult. I tried sending an email to the email address on the error message, but it gets returned as undeliverable. Has anyone else h...

Re: From Days Gone By

Good to see you around. Good to see you too. Your poems and pics are very much missed here. I spent some time in Denver "In Days Gone By" and miss that too. You were one of the first to welcome me here. You were also THE one that brought the 2x4 upside my fatigue addled brain. Drove home the realiz...

Snoredog was the first to welcome me here. Ironically, I was a year older than him when I arrived.

Re: Airsense 10 Humidifer Not Working - Fuse Change Didn't work, Any Options?

I can't really wait for 2 months like this for a Airsense 11 to magically come in stock. Then get another AS 10 so the supplies you have will fit it. I'd get a replacement but there's nowhere that takes insurance anywhere that I can find that has an Airsense 11 in stock (no, the sponsor to this sit...

Re: international trip - US Custom clearance

The JPN customs can/will NOT judge if the device does not harm health, that is a reason the permission issued by JPN health department in advance is required. I know in the past countries like JP & CN don't want products which are not made within their country sold or left behind. They also require...

Re: Still waiting for a machine since Aug 1st MY AHI is 62.5

Get a copy of your sleep study and your prescription. Once you get that and ask your insurance if there is another DME in network you can go to any of them or out-of-network IF you choose too. Or buy a used cpap while you wait since you will also want a spare backup cpap in case you have problems w...

Re: Still waiting for a machine since Aug 1st MY AHI is 62.5

I have both obstructive and central sleep APNEA. Is anyone else in this position? Also has had a CPAP from Luna? I guess this is one I will get. Any reviews on this machine? Get a copy of your sleep study and your prescription. Speak directly with your insurance to find out the process and what the...
