Re: Allergy to CPAP machine

My solution to this problem is a stand alone humidifier. Three times I have tried to use an integrated humidifier, and that is what happened to me every time. Initially, I used a stand alone Humidaire because the DME happened not to have the integrated and I was using the stand alone as a loaner unt...

VPap III

I have a friend-neighbor-coworker that I discovered had a cpap that had been sitting in the top of his closet for about a year. I finally convinced the young man to remove the machine from the top of his closet, dust it off and try again. He says his problem seems to be that the machine kicks back i...

Re: Aussie Heated Hose

Worth EVERY penny...IMHO...I have a spare...I wouldn't want to be without it...Mine is 2 years old so far...I have not had ONE bit of rainout since I have had mine...I had a problem with the first one I bought. I sent an email to sleepzone one night telling them about my melted hose... I got a call ...

Re: Trouble exhaling with Swift LT

Yep, I have never worn a large before, but with the LT, I am. I love the comfort of the pillows and headgear. Feels the most like no mask of any I have ever tried. My problem is not just exhaling .. mine is that I feel as tho I am not getting enough air. For this reason I went to large pillow. No pr...

Re: beginner problems

I don't know how long you have been on cpap but keep trying. It was almost 4 months before I kept my mask on for a full night -- I would take it off in my sleep. But eventually the day will come when you will awaken and find you have finally kept it on all night . It is worth the effort.. just keep ...

My deepest sympathies to all of your family. Your father was a special man. We all feel as tho we knew him. The number of folks he helped cannot be counted. He will be greatly missed and long remembered.

Help --Why Do I Feel Like I did pre-cpap?

I have been using cpap for about three and one half years. My mouth is taped shut , my numbers are good -- most of the time anyway-- yet I feel terrible most of the time: My head hurts badly in the a.m. -feels like it's filled with cotton;I can't remember anything; and I fall asleep most anytime I s...

Re: Need Help: Darth Vader Sound.

Your best bet will be to see if you can still swap this in on the older "tank" model. I tried for 6 months to get accustomed to the noise from the M model. The noise from mine got worse -not better - as time went on. I never got a good night of rest/sleep until I was able to swap it in for the pre M...

Re: FREE PurSleep (Aromatic) Samples

SleepGuy, Many thanks for the samples. I was pleasantly suprised by how fast my samples arrived. The envelope smells great. However, (and maybe it was the scents that I chose) all of the sample pads smell pretty much the same. The aromas have mingled. Not a bad smell -- just can't tell them apart. B...

Mine sits on my Humidaire with a good thick mouse pad in between.
We had a bunch of extras. My son was going to throw them away, but I rescued them and have found several good uses for them. All were new.. still wrapped in cellophane.

As long as I use my heated hose, keep my humidifier setting as high as it will go and warm the water I put in the humidifier before using it , I never get the terrible sneezing. Omit any one of the three things and I do.
