Re: ResMed S9 Elite CPAP

before anybody gets sucked into stevoreno_55's cesspit of brickwalling and repeatedly asking the same questions over and over like a 3 year old, DO search on his username and see that he's been up to the same old BS since at least 2007, under first the name stevoreno, and now, after that was banned...

I recently tried a Quattro and a Flexifit 432 at my local Apria Healthcare store but neither FFM gave me a decent seal at 18cm. If anyone knows of a good FFM that will give a decent seal at 18cm or higher post here if you would. Apria Healthcare sent me home that day with a Comfortgel nasal mask wh...

Re: reply and ranting

[quote="lcook7281"]Ok, and somewhat on a rant..... 4 weeks ago was the first time I broke down and went to an ENT. It was only after we decided that something more than vaseline needed to be tried. I had also been using AYR gel fairly regularly. However the doc apparently needs hearing aids. Because...

[quote="Snoredog"]yep UMFF should work fine. Once you get away from that cheap Respironics interface crap you find there are a lot of masks available that can handle that pressure. Apria only carries that cheap crap because it improves their profit margin, they don't care if it works or not. Somnote...

[quote="GumbyCT"]I think the UMM will do the trick. Of course they could order it - they are Apria. Tell your doc you are having leak issues, see if he'll order you a bi-pap. I am now using the Headrest a nasal on 18/15 via bipap.

Good Luck,

Full face masks not sealing at 18cm

I paid a visit to Apria Healthcare last week hoping I would be coming back home with some kind of a full face mask to replace my Respironics Profile Lite nasal mask. While at Apria I tried a Fisher & Paykel Flexifit HC 432, it wouldn't seal properly, it leaked bad, the RT then had me try a Resmed Mi...

[quote="xyz"]> My doctor writes an order for a bipap. My DME follows the order - else DME gets fired. What am I missing here?

All the people who have no choice of DME (and there are lots). Their insurance company limits them to only the one DME that the insurance company contracts with.

My local Apria Healthcare branch has provided me with very good service so far but based upon what others have posted here about Apria Healthcare my opinion could change if I begin to experience problems with them but so far so good.

Re: APRIA Still Stinks !

[quote="pratzert"]I have CIGNA Insurance and they in turn have an exclusive contract with APRIA. After reading that a few people have seemingly had some good luck dealing with them recently, I thought I'd try my luck again. I still have my original mask that I got from them TWO YEARS AGO and need a ...

Re: Dry irritated eye problems continue

[quote="MrRandom"]Well, the punctal plugs in my lower lids did essentially no good. I'm sure they are dissolved by now, but really did pretty much nothing. Perhaps the air is not going up my tear ducts afterall or maybe I need plugs in both upper and lower. I don't know. The thing that bothers me is...

stevoreno, if you go to the "Fix and Tweak pictures collection" thread you will see pictures of my solution for knocking my machine over. Cheers.
