Re: Travel Machine

Hey, if anyone wants to know -- I just completed my supply purchase on cpap.com. There was a coupon code that expired yesterday, FALL19, and it still worked today. FYI! :-)

Re: Travel Machine

Okay, I'll have to agree, the best option would be to stick with a second AirSense 10, if I can get it. I've actually just found one on Craigslist ... so do y'all think that is trustworthy to buy that way? This is what the listing says: I have a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset CPAP that I no longer need ...

Re: Travel Machine

Wow, awesome, thanks! He just wants a second machine so he can leave his home setup the way it is without having to pack it up. The size really isn't an issue. I'll look into the above options!

Travel Machine

Hi! It's been a long time since I've visited the forum, but thought y'all could give me some advice. I'm ordering some supplies for my husband, and thought while I'm at it I would look at machines. He has said repeatedly that he would love to have a machine for travel. He's been using the ResMed Air...

Re: CPAP on Overnight Flight?

I sprung for one of the tiny machines. I used it when I had the luxury of a lie-flat seat, it works upside down or whatever with the multi-night battery. The flights were long, across the Pacific. As the reviews said, the humidifier for this machine is heavy and bulky, so it went in the luggage for...

Wondering about a chinstrap or neck collar to try to keep the mouth closed?

Re: CPAP on Overnight Flight?

WindCpap, would you consider another option, other than the CPAP?

Re: CPAP on Overnight Flight?

SewTired ... don't get me wrong ... the new ResMed was an amazing upgrade! It's so quiet, I love it! But I was thinking it would be too bulky to try to use on an airplane. Thought maybe I'd look for a lower profile option. LSAT ... I will look into the insurance option. Health insurance is a raw sub...

CPAP on Overnight Flight?

My husband and I will be taking a big vacation in February ... got some time to plan here. Seems like every time we'll get on an airplane, it will be an overnight flight. Ronnie has used CPAP therapy for over 10 years now, and we're used to traveling with the equipment, but I'm a little concerned ab...

Anyone know where to download the clinician manual for the AS10? Just bought this machine and don't know how to set pressures, etc. Thanks!

Re: I just want to sleep!

Thanks, everyone. I think it's time to act on this. I'm going to do a little more research and get a new machine ordered, and look into a new mask. And if that doesn't work, I'll continue to do what I have done many times, fall asleep on the couch then go to bed at 2 or 3 AM, when I'm so tired I don...

Re: I just want to sleep!

I don't remember what his pressure settings are ... it's been a while since I've looked. But probably not too far off from yours, from what I do remember. I think it's worth trying the SleepWeaver. I'll order one when I order his new machine. I see now that ResMed has a newer model, so will probably...

Re: I just want to sleep!

Thanks ... I'm not trying to be insensitive or selfish, I've always been supportive of his CPAP therapy ... but when you can hear the mask leaks in the bedroom all the way downstairs in the living room, over the sound of the TV, you know it's loud. We're not talking about normal leaks here. It's off...

I just want to sleep!

Hi, I am the wife of a CPAP user. He's been on CPAP therapy since 2007 ... and I've been on and (mostly) off this forum since then. I have begun work to get him a new machine, figure we could use an update after 7 years, and I'm looking at the S9 Auto, since he's got the S8 Auto right now. I can't b...

Re: Mask Recommendation

One question ... why is it that all the equipment but a mask doesn't show in my posts? I've checked my profile, and it's all listed there ... do I need to update or anything?
