You had a good first night!

Thank your DME..you got a NICE machine. Did you pull up your data on the machine's screen to see your numbers?

It'll take you a few nights to get used to wearing a mask and not kinda staying awake to adjust it or fix leaks.

cpaptalk-articles/CPAP-stages-feeling-good.html

Read this. It talks about the emotional stages that you go through when you get diagnosed and start treatment.

It's a big change in your life, so it's understandable to have feelings about it.

The additional information you would get with the software would be time of events, patterns of leaks, and similar information. If you had an Auto, the software would be more valuable, in my opinion. If you're content to continue writing your information, there's no real reason to use the software....

Honestly, yes, I think if you lose weight your sleep apnea will improve. It sounds like he was throwing that 5% number out there randomly.

There are some things Dr. Oz uh, MISSED....
Not everyone with OSA is overweight.
It's *10%* weight loss that makes a big health difference.

Yah, you're stopped up.

Here's a great recipe for industrial-strength salt water solution
Quart of water
Teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoons of PURE salt (NOT table...use canning or kosher)

Use a nasal/ear bulb and shoot up your schnoz.

My ENT gave me this recipe and I SWEAR by it.

Thank you so much for all your help and info! I do need some feed back because sometimes I wonder if I am doing any better. My doctor doesn't give any feed back at all, I asked him if my cpap has this capability and he told me no just for compliance, don't worry about anything as far as the data go...

You can always get a copy of your RX and shop around. You don't have to use the doctor's DME.
