Re: full face mask air problem
I remember that mask and it was like a leaf blower. I went to the Quattro Air and it is a better mask in all respects. The exhaust air is a non issue and the gel cushion design seals well and is easier on your nose and face. See if you can acquire one. Regards

Re: ResMed quattro Air vs ResMed AirFit F10
Thanks for all the responses. My only question was re the Resmed Quattro Air FFM and the ResMed AirFit™ F10 Full Face Mask and Omne answered it in a clear concise way. Thanks. Don't know how the FX entered the game. As to why, if, I was happy with the Q Air I wondered about the AirFit F10, I am 100%...

ResMed quattro Air vs ResMed AirFit F10
So, I'm a happy user of the Resmed Quattro Air FFM and I see the ResMed AirFit™ F10 Full Face Mask that seems to use the same cushions. Is the AirFit F10 a newer evolution of the AIr. Anything about it that caused ResMed to come out with this new model that would make it better than my air? Regards

Re: Quattro Air mask not venting? Or is it??
The new venting design is really a much nicer design. With previous masks over the years we had to have a pillow on the bed between us so that the old mask vents wouldn't blast my good wife with vent air when I would turn her way LOL! It is a good thing. Regards

Re: How Long Do Machines Really Last?
My RESMED VPAP AUTO 25 went from being an almost silent machine to a very loud beast that still did it's job, but made it hard to get to sleep at almost 11,000 hours. Sounds like a pump that is struggling to get suction. It is now retired.

Thanks, I'm thinking the same thing re a bearing. To bad, it has been so good. Made me wonder how many hours these machines have for an average service life. Regards

Machine Starting To Fail?
My machine is a RESMED VPAP AUTO 25 with right at 11,000 hours and has never had more than an almost silent hum as it worked, but, just this week it become noisy. For certain machine noise and not mask/airline. The noise is a high pitched whine much like a pump trying to achieve suction. Makes it ha...

VPAP AUTO 25 vs VPAP ADAPT SV
I have been successfully using my RESMED VPAP AUTO 25 since 2009 and have an opportunity to acquire an RESMED VPAP ADAPT SV machine which seems to be a newer machine. I like the AUTO machines and am I correct that the VPAP ADAPT SV is not, and just runs at a set pressure?

Re: Resmed VPAP Auto Clinical Manual
Slinky is the Grail on these fine machines so, you will get things sorted out. After 3 successful years on a Respironics Auto Bi Level I went to this machine and it is really a user friendly platform. Things will be good once you have it set up for you

Re: Traveling with CPAP
The "No Extension Cord" thing is because some consumers will use lamp cord size cords that are barely big enough Gage to run a table lamp, and hook up everything they have. Rather than attempt to explain the wire Gage/amp rules they protect themselves. I have been saved many times by having a nice 6...

Re: What Can Happen If You Don't Use Your Cpap Machine?
I've often thought that the fact that I discovered that I had SA the hard way was a blessing because it demonstrated to me that treatment was not optional. In early 2007 I was on a automobile trip with my wife. I had gone from being a dependable long range driver to one who for the first time strugg...

Re: Trying full face mask tonight...plus, sinus trouble...
I'm glad that you are trying the FFM. I'm three years successfully using the Quattro, and I like the fact that if I want to breath through my mouth I can if I'm stuffy. One thing that has really helped is to irrigate my nose before bedtime with a solution of 1 tsp baking soda/1 tsp sea salt/12 oz of...
