watched it

I happend to stumble over it... was very good at describing the necessity of sleep and how our culture feels about it....

didn't describe sleep problems too much, and test subjects didn't have OSA.... but it does show what stay many of US have been living in with deprived sleep or poor sleep qulaity

any reccomendations on a full face mask which psuhes your chin up and therefore closes the mouth... been mouth breathing terribly lately

im not on one of those memory foam things and had tb test months ago.. i think i just sewat alot.... been sleeping great and restful, few "events" at all.... been loosing weight, eating reasonably well. i think i just get hot at night..... im also going to replace my thermostat to make sur the temp ...

I have had night sweats. The doctor says nothing is wrong. I keep my room a cool 65 (if possible). I live in cotton clothes and cotton bedding. My pj's are light, roomy, and comfy. When I was without treatment (pre xpap) I would be up alot and sweat too, but would not be sleeping soundly enough, so ...

i did push the heat button and the "heat" came up in the screen..... ill try holding the heat button till it beeps....

ok.. helpful, but nott it

There is a small blue light on the bottom right of the tray which indicates the humidifier (tank) i working. This light is not on top. THe tray has been replaced. The machine is only 9 months old. It has been traveled well and safely, Something has been reset. When he first got it, I did SOMETHING.....

so.... My dad has a resperonics bi pap with biflex. W hen he first got it, we couldn't get the humidifier to work. I had read something on the forum (which I can't find now) and i did something to his machine and got it working. we all just traveled, and now we can't get his humidifier to work. Ever...

I find that I am not dreaming as much, although I know this isn't true. I just don't remember the dreams. When I titrated I had lots of dreams, and when i first started cpap therapy, i would sleep through alarm clocks and fire alarms. what i considered dreaming before cpap, was not dreaming. my doc ...

Thanks to all.. this was super informative. I think i might saty with respironics..... especially after what captain midnight said. what a coincidence.... it will obviously take awhile to get and stuf, but ill update when i get it.....

how long do you guys run baseline for? 1 week? 2 weeks?

I usually love my cpap, but i do find cycles (about every 2 months) were I just don't want to put the damn thing on!!!!!. I take it offf in the middle of the night and i find it irritating to wear, but i know i need it and push myself to start the night on it... then in a week or so i go back tolovi...

getting a data capable apap... any reccomendations?

Im getting anew perscription for an apap with data capability and heated humidifier. I have had a respironics cpap at a pressure of 10. It works great, but some weeks (about 1 week each month) I find i wake up snoring, feeling like im fallling, and feel crappy.... so going high tech.... So I know it...
