I travel with my machine all the time, I am on 18-24 flights a month and I have never had a problem with taking my machine, this goes for domestic as well as international. Some places do swab other do not, it is very "well what do I feel like doing" type of thing. At one airport I just went through...

I use my machine between 10 and 14. I have played with it as high as 16, just for curiosity. No leaks at any of those pressures. It took me a good week of playing to find the exact headgear configuration, then just like a switch all fell into place and no soreness. I have been using this mask for 4 ...

It sounds like you have the headgear to tight. I did this the first few nights with the mask and I had the same sore spot. I loosened the top strap to loose fit and have a snug fit on the strap that goes behind the head. I still get a great seal this way and the nose piece is not pulled up hard agai...

Well, you could have hinted that without you there may be a machine in her future.

How compliant would that be.

Should be easy enough to explain. Show them the old data, the new data with the numbers reset and tell them what you did and why. I am sure this will not be the first, nor the last time this will happen. Just tell them.'

I have CIGNA, they let me buy from who I want and refund 85% upto their line item, which for me is 1800.

They have been very easy to deal with.

Mine went the other way, no I do not know that I had GERD, but I did have a lot of acid stomach problems for the last 8 years, used to wake up most nights and eat tums, which did help. Since the second day of cpap I have not had any problems, and I am eating foods that I used avoid like the plague b...

In a different thread that I wrote to quickly I used DI incorrectly, it was distilled that I was speaking of, sorry if that caused any problems. If you empty and refill the humidifier with out letting the water level drop to a very small amount the ions will stay in solution and should not cause any...

Good thread, when I travel with my a flex I just shake the tank dry and reinstall. I may not be getting it dry enough. I will start to use some sort of towel before moving the unit to stop any water droplets from getting in the machine.

Thanks

Wow, lots going on here. I fly with Delta between 4 and 6 times a month. I carry on my overhead compliant suitcase, my computer case and my cpap. I have never been asked about it once they knew it was a medical device. The law is clear that cpap is considered an allowable medical device. Having said...

Teach, you need the reader to get the info to the computer where the software does the rest. I do not think that it works with a Mac, but it may. It will not work with vista or me from microsoft. The version is Encore Pro v1.6i. Encore Pro v1.8i is no longer available from Respironics. Version (v1.6...
