Yes, I use a very weak 10% solution of normal bleach which is only 5% to start with is on 0.5% chlorine, the conversion to hypochlorite NaOCl active is a bit different but close enough. The upshot is that it is very weak. I triple rinse and air dry. Have not had a problem. I have never had deposits ...

Alisha, To clean the tank use a mild bleach solution through the two holes on the top, swish around, pour out and rinse several times. No need to split the tank open. If you need to scrub the tank you can use something a bit more abrasive in the water, and swish around until clean, rinse very well.

Guest,

This is not a closed system, a re-breather is a closed system, this has an input and an out put for the exhaust system.

Water vapor will not carry ions, water mist will. If the humidifier is vapor a very good source of water free of volatile materials will do.

Many contracts that I have looked at in the medical field state that the person is responsible for anything over the allowed insurance if the insurance compay does not cover the whole amount. This may not be in great big bold words on the contract . I would call the DME anonymously and tell them tha...

Water, a good subject. First of all, bacteria and viruses can be atomized and inhaled, plain and simple fact. Second RO water is very good quality water, however it does not remove everything. There are RO systems that will remove most things that can be found in total dissolved solids such as calci...

Just got back from a biz trip. I went through the screen the first time with case open and in a tub, they xrayed it and I went on my way. I had to go out of the secure area and went back through the line. I did exactly the same thing and this time they swabbed it, the same TSA agents. I asked why th...

dumb does not cover that one, dangerous is the word. The vents in the two masks are totally not compatible, as you know. I would call them and tell them that they need to pay attention to details, they may hurt someone or worse.

When I got my a-flex I set it up exactly as rested gal stated. It worked great for me. Good luck, it is a good starting place if nothing else.

My titration was also at 13.

The instructions that snoredog gave are correct, it is in a tree and it is easy to set.
