It is possible that not all your irritability was due to a sleep deficit. When you experienced good sleep in the past and were much nicer during the day, was there anything else about those days that may have assisted in the good feelings? I know when I got my therapy going it made a huge difference...

Mouthguard with a Baby Soother style outer flap

Hey all, I seem to remember reading about a mouthguard that someone got a hold of that had a piece that goes on the outside of the mouth to rest up against the lips and provide a bit of a seal. Between the tongue control of the mouthguard and the outer piece it worked really well for them. Does anyo...

How long have you been on the blower? I think you will see that after a while you won't be able to sleep without it.

That being said, I think you would want to wear it whenever you are having a nap.

Couple things... You may have already thought of them... 1 - Check to ensure that your not having some other environmental issue that is causing arousals or poor quality of sleep. This could be something that is keeping you awake like a sound, light or even feeling - like the heater turning on and s...

Thats a good idea Grizzly. I imagine that a company making custom mask inserts that match your face (the entire mask wouldn't need to be custom, just an insert that touches the face) would probably make a pretty penny. With regards to people that go to DMEs you are right on the money about the "Here...

Got lazy and stopped buying the Distilled water (also hated throwing all that plastic out), instead using spring water out of the cooler I have outside my bedroom. After a few months I do have the hard white crust from the minerals. I will try the vinegar route and see if it takes it off. Last time ...

I started off with an M Series Plus at 19. Bought an Auto from CPAP.COM and have it set at 14-20. Rarely do I get to my titrated pressure level of 19. Usually hover around 16 or so. With the straight CPAP I was not having much luck at all. With the Auto I am fully 100% compliant. Have some bad night...

The gentleman at the Mayo clinic may not have his information completely up to date. I am looking at a jar of Vicks VapoRub Ointment that I bought yesterday at the drug store (with an expiry date of August 09) and on the front in a red box it says the following: Nasal Decongestant / Cough Suppresan...

Well until Respironics gets their act together and offers the software (or a reasonable alternative) to the public, it will be hard to make a case for piracy impacting sales. Look at it more like abandonware - completely unsupported and use at own risk. I doubt that they will start to sue their cust...

I just wanted to chime in on this (not sure whether that is a pun or not).. I too bought the Sleeptracker and have used it for a few weeks now. I seem to do better with it. The alarm is plenty loud for me to wake up since it is when I am moving around from being at the lowest level of sleep. Even wh...
